INTRODUCCION La segunda práctica de laboratorio denominada “ Uso y Manejo del Banco
Hidráulico” fue realizada el día miércoles 09 de mayo del 2012, en el Laboratorio de Hidráulica de la Facultad de Tecnología de la construcción, ubicado en el Recinto Universitario Pedro Arauz Palacios (RUPAP). El accesorio del banco hidráulico, FMEOO, provee de las facilidades necesarias para soportar un comprensible rango de modelos hidráulicos, los cuales han sido diseñados para demostrar un aspecto particular de la teoría de fluidos. Las leyes de conservación de masas, energía y momento pueden ser simplificadas todo para tratar de describir de una manera cuantitativa el comportamiento del fluido.
La mecánica de fluidos ha sido desarrollada con una disciplina analítica de las aplicaciones de las leyes clásicas de dinámica, termodinámica y estadísticas, a situaciones en las cuales el fluido puede ser tratado como un medio continuo.

Generalidades I-
REQUERIMIENTOS DEL EQUIPO
1. Este equipo requiere una alimentación eléctrica de 220V, fase + neutro + tierra, 50Hz (110V, 60Hz) y 3 CV máx. 2.
Este equipo requiere agua, por lo que se deberá prever una alimentación de agua
de ½” – 2” – 2” y presión normal en la red.
3. Del mismo modo, es necesario disponer de un desagüe próximo. Se recomienda que las tuberías, y los elementos o herramientas necesarios para la realización de una instalación provisional provisional para su puesta en marcha estén disponibles a su alcance en caso de que no exista alimentación de agua en el lugar de emplazamiento del equipo. 4. Es recomendable disponer de 1 a 2 metros alrededor del equipo para un mejor manejo, y así, una mejor utilización. utiliz ación. 5. El emplazamiento definitivo deberá estar bien iluminado, ya sea con luz natural o bien artificial. Esto brindará comodidad y evitara errores y accidentes. 6. El equipo debe mantenerse en condiciones de 22ºC y 50% de humedad relativa. Fuera del 25% de estas condiciones, el equipo puede deteriorarse. Por ello se debe evitar lo siguiente: a)
Dejar el equipo conectado al finalizar un trabajo.
b)
Dejar agua en los recipientes al finalizar un trabajo.
c)
Dejar el equipo expuesto al sol o luz directa excesiva, de forma continua.
d)
Dejar el equipo en ambientes de más del 80% de humedad relativa.
e) Dejar el equipo en un ambiente químico, salino, de luz directa, calor o cualquier ambiente agresivo.

CONDICIONES PREVIAS A LA PUESTA EN MARCHA
Antes de proceder a la puesta en marcha del equipo deben comprobarse los siguientes aspectos: 1.
Que el espacio existente alrededor del equipo es el adecuado.
2.
Que el emplazamiento es el definitivo.
3.
Que las condiciones eléctricas han sido comprobadas.
a) Medir con el Multímetro las condiciones eléctricas. La tensión y la frecuencia deben ser adecuadas, según lo indicado en los requerimientos. b) Comprobar que la toma de tierra existe, que está conectada y que tiene valores adecuados. NO DEBE FIARSE NUNCA DE LA INFORMACIÓN RECIBIDA SOLO DEL MULTÍMETRO. III-
CONDICIONES DE SEGURIDAD ADECUADAS
Repase antes de la puesta en marcha, la ausencia de riesgos para las personas, analizando detalladamente lo siguiente: 1.
Que no existen partes móviles desprotegidas.
2.
Que no existen contactos eléctricos desprotegidos que puedan ser accesibles.
3.
Que no existe riesgo de roturas.
4.
Que no hay derramamiento de productos peligrosos.
5. Comprobar que la fuente eléctrica es la adecuada y tiene las protecciones adecuadas de seguridad idóneas, que la alimentación necesaria del equipo es igual a la alimentación disponible, si dispone de diferencial, si tiene toma de tierra o no, el valor de la toma de tierra y el valor de la tensión. 6. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Una bomba centrifuga aspira agua de un tanque sumidero y la eleva por un tubo vertical . Procedimiento Experimental
1.
Se conectó la bomba.
2. Se abrió la válvula de vaciado para vaciar el tanque de medida. Cuando el tanque de medida estuvo vaciado, se conecto la bomba y se cerró la válvula de vaciado. 3. Una vez que se quiso medir el caudal se debe cerrar la válvula de control de desagüe, para ello se retira la válvula hacia arriba consiguiendo que el agua no vuelva al tanque. Con ello se logró observar como el depósito comenzó a llenarse. 4. Al mismo tiempo que el depósito se llenaba, pudimos observar como en la regla del banco comenzaba a subir el nivel del agua. 5. Una vez puestos en esta situación, se tomó una referencia, el dos en nuestro caso, cuando el agua llegó a dicho nivel se puso en marcha el cronómetro. Y se paró el cronómetro en dependencia de la cantidad de litros que se dejaron fluir en cada lectura. Al final se obtuvo 8 lecturas.

2. ¿Cuál es la capacidad del banco hidráulico de medir caudales bajos y caudales altos? El aparato tiene una capacidad de depósito total de 250 litros, del cual su capacidad para medir caudales bajos es de 6 litros y para caudales altos es de 40 litros; el resto está considerado en la circulación del líquido por el tanque.
