Write attention gripping introduction and meaningful ending.
ACTIVITIES
1. Teacher gives a little input on adjectives, adverbs and sentence structures / patterns. 2. Students use the thesaurus and dictionary to look up suitable words in describing people, scene and actions. 3. Students brainstorm on suitable adverbs to add into the text to make it more interesting. 4. Students join sentences together with the words given in brackets. 5. Students review their own writing and edit the structures of their sentences where appropriate. 6. If time permits, students look into strategies of writing powerful introduction and ending. Homework: Review on their essays.
