(Vergangenheit 2/Vorgegenwart) A Vorbemerkungen In der deutschen Sprache gibt es drei verschiedene Vergangenheitsformen: das Perfekt, das Präteritum (Imperfekt) und das Plusquamperfekt. Wir werden nun als erste Zeitform der Vergangenheit das Perfekt besprechen.
B Anwendungen 1. Vorzeitigkeit Vorzeitigk eit einer Handlung in Bezug auf das Präsens Eine Handlung, die bereits geschehen ist, wird in Beziehung zur Gegenwart gebracht. Das Perfekt drückt hierbei die Vorzeitigkeit dieser Handlung gegenüber der anderen Handlung aus. Beispiele: Er hat den Schirm vergessen. Darum regnet es ihm jetzt auf den Kopf. Der Knabe hat gelogen und deshalb gibt ihm sein Vater eine Ohrfeige. Nachdem ich eine kleine Pause gemacht habe, fühle ich mich nun besser.
2. Erzählzeitform der Vergangenheit im mündlichen Bericht In einem mündlichen Bericht über Vergangenes braucht man grundsätzlich das Perfekt. (Bei Sätzen mit den Verben „haben“, „sein“ und „werden“ sowie bei Sätzen mit den Verben „können“, „dürfen“, „sollen“, „wollen“, „mögen“ und „müssen“ wird oft anstelle des Perfekts das Präteritum [Imperfekt] verwendet.) Merke noch: Wird von einer Vorlage abgelesen, wobei die Verben im Präteritum ste-
hen, so wird auch in der gesprochenen Sprache das Präteritum beibehalten.
C Bildung des Perfekts Das Perfekt ist eine zusammengesetzte Zeitform. Es wird folgendermassen gebildet:

Vorbem Vorbemerk erkung ung Die Verben „sollen“, „dürfen“, „wollen“, „können“, „müssen“ und „mögen“ werden nicht in jedem Fall als Modalverben gebraucht; manchmal verwendet man sie im Satz als Vollverben, d.h. sie stehen nicht mit einem zweiten Verb im Infinitiv in Verbindung. Werden die oben genannten sechs Verben als Vollverben gebraucht, so wird das entsprechende Perfekt ganz normal gebildet! Beispiele: P r ä s e n s Er muss das. Was kann er? Ihr dürft es sicher. Mag er dich gut? Ich will das nicht.
