DRRM ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT Period Covered: February 15, 2018 Name of School: Munguia National High School

Narrative Earthquake is one of the famous disasters that caused people died or injured. It cannot be detected by when and where it would be happened to anyone. This is mostly happened in places where people are hanging around and working. Earthquake is understood by being natural phenomenon caused by the constant movements of the earth’s crustal plates and due to climate change too. Connectively, MUNGUIA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL conducted the simultaneous school-based earthquake drill on February 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m wherein the 1st QUARTER SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE EARTHQUAKE DRILL DRILL was mandate mandate that all Public and private schools and DepEd offices full cooperation with the NDRRMC should undertake the drill. Before the actual drill, Ms. JINGKY S. PADDIT, the School DRRM Coordinator undertook orientation about the conduct of the earthquake drill. She disseminated the information about the occurrence of earthquake as well as the needs to carry out information to enhance the students awareness on the safety measures before, during and after. In t he midst of changing world comes serious number of disastrous and devastating phenomenon- accidents, typhoons, flashfloods, fires and earthquakes. Hence it is, necessary that everybody is informed of the precautionary and safety measures or standards during during life’s catastrophic events. Aimed at installing to students’ knowledge students’ knowledge on the earthquake and fire, its cause and effect and the proper ways of dealing with it during and after the t he event.
