Performance Task: Task: The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through the Department of Education (Dep Ed) is commissioning a Student Summit which would be participated by various departments which would include but no be limited to: Department of Local and Employment (DOLE), Commission on Audit (COA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Department of Tourism. The Student Summit will focus on the youth’s role in the changing environment of the world with regards to education being th e bridge for a competitive Philippines. You have been chosen as one of the participants for the Summit. You will also be delivering a speech (your type and kind preference) that would tackle the Summit’s main objective that being the youth’s role for a globally competitive Philippines. Opportunities will be at stak e since the various government departments like the Department of Local and Employment Employment (DOLE) will look into potential students who has what it takes to work in a working environment and can do critical thinking and analysis. So as the usage of speech in becoming a well-rounded student ready for the challenges of the Higher Education level. Different ideas that would contribute to the economic growth of the Philippines by providing new ideas for business and technical careers that would look into the students’ ability to provide accurate information through effective speech techniques. Your speech will be assessed based on content, delivery, and mastery.
