As part part of the requirem requirement entss for the degree degree of Bachel Bachelor or of Scienc Sciencee in Busine Business ss Management, major in Marketing Management, students are required to undergo an onthe-job training which requires 24 hours of training! "his training is generall# the primar# method to broadening the emplo#ee$s skills and to increase producti%it# and fle&ibilit#! '(" gi%es a sense of confidence that can be used when appl#ing for a job after graduation! Students should reali)e the importance of '(" in their future career! *a%ing a good performance during '(" is %er# important especiall# now that there is a tight competition towards job seekers and the high qualification of companies! 'n-the-job training is still widel# used toda#! +n fact, it is probabl# the most popular method of training because it requires onl# a person who knows to do the task and the tools the person uses to do the task! +t ma# not be the most effecti%e or the most efficient efficient method at times, but it is normall# the easiest to arrange and manage! Because the training takes place on the job, it can be highl# realistic and no transfer of learning is required! +t is often ine&pensi%e because no special equipment is needed other than what is normall# used in the job! She consulted them whene%er she has questions or needed their assistance! "hrough this, she was able to build selfconfidence and become responsible in performing tasks assigned to her! "he author obser%ed that the main problem of the department was the lack of emplo#ees that ma# perform e%er#da# task! "he trainee encountered different complaints from the customers regarding the price of the different products!

Some of the works e&perienced are selling in the beach store under the in%entor# department, putting products in their proper place, cleaning and polishing the stockroom! >uring her training, she learned how to market products to potential customers! She also e&perienced to arrange the different receipts- deli%er# receipt, miscellaneous receipt, cash in%oice and sales in%oice receipt and different requisition form of emplo#ees for their different e%ents of the hotel- ala 5arte, banquette, e-meal, kitchen, canteen, housekeeping, concierge, and front office according on its date! She learned how to prepare different products for the costing of AM snack, breakfast, lunch! ;M Snack, and dinner of the emplo#ees! She reali)ed that this training is one of the best wa#s to e&perience the real world!
