Senkrecht-Becherwerke sind Stetigförderer zur vertikalen Förderung von Schüttgut aller Art. An einem umlaufenden Zugmittel, welches um die Endumführungen läuft, sind in engem Abstand Becher aneinandergereiht. Die beiden Becherstränge und die Antriebs-/Umlenkräder (bei Ketten als Zugmittel) bzw. die Antriebs-/Umlenktrommel (bei Gurten als Zugmittel) sind in einem geschlossenen Gehäuse gekapselt. Die prinzipielle Gesamtansicht eines SenkrechtBecherwerks ist in Bild 1 dargestellt.
Vertical bucket elevators are continuous mechanical handling equipment for vertical conveying of all kinds of bulk material. Buckets are installed in a series a circulating traction mechanism revolving around the final return pulleys. The two bucket strands and the driving/deflection wheels (where chains are used as traction mechanism) and the driving/deflection pulley (where belts are used as traction mechanism) are encapsulated in a closed housing. Die diesem Zugträger eigenen Vorteile wie kleine bzw.. kleinste Betriebsdehnungen sowie seine Un bzw empfindlichkeit empfindlich keit gegenüber hohen Temperatureinwirkungen werden ausgenutzt. Bei Stahlseilgurten kommen in der Regel Gummideckplatten zum Einsatz, meist in temperaturbeständiger Qualität. Hierbei ist zu beachten, daß neben der reinen TemperaturbestänTemperaturbeständigkeit der Deckplatten gleichzeitig eine hohe Trennfestigkeit zwischen den Deckplatten und dem Kerngummi bestehen sollte. Gewebegurte , meistens mit EP-Zugträger (Polyester/ Polyamid), werden bevorzugt für Einsatzfälle bei kleinen Achsabständen und niedrigen Förderguttemperaturen (max. 80 ºC) eingesetzt. Die Deckplatten werden aus Gummi oder bei Fördergütern der Getreide- und Futtermittelindustrie hauptsächlich aus Kunststoff gewählt. Zum Abschluß sei darauf hingewiesen, daß die „Temperaturbeständigkeit“ (entsprechend ihrer tem peraturbedingten Alterung) bei Gurten eine von der Höhe und der zeitlichen Einwirkdauer der Temperatur stark abhängige Eigenschaft von Gurten beschreibt.

Hierbei werden die beiden Gurtenden zwischen einem Keil und zwei Formteilen, die im Gurtumlenkradius der Dicke des Zugträgers angepaßt sind, mit mehreren Schrauben eingeklemmt. Die Stahlseile können gemäß Bild 3b zusätzlich aus den Gurtenden herausgeführt und mechanisch miteinander verbunden werden. Obwohl Gummi quasi inkompressibel ist, werden die Gurtenden plastisch verformt. Da sich diese Verformung über eine gewisse Zeit hin erstreckt, spricht man vom Setzen der Klemmverbindung. Dadurch geht die ursprüngliche Vorspannkraft zurück, so daß die Klemmkraft zum Halten der Gurtenden zu klein werden kann. Um diesen Klemmkraftverlust rechtzeitig (d.h. auch während des Betriebs) zu erkennen, können Überwachungseinrichtungen eingesetzt werden.

4.1.1 4.1 .1.2 .2 Becherbefestigung Über die Becherbefestigung werden die auftretenden mechanischen Beanspruchungen vom Becher in den Gurt eingeleitet. Diese mechanischen Beanspruchungen werden in ihrer Größe im wesentlichen durch die Fördergutaufnahme und die Bechereigenmasse bestimmt. Die Art der Becherbefestigung beeinflußt entscheidend die Nutzungsdauer des Gurtes. Kleine und gleichmäßige Flächenpressungen zwischen Gurt und Becherbefestigung sind zur Erreichung möglichst langer Standzeiten des Gurtes vorteilhaft.

Für Einsatzfälle in Hochleistungs-Kettenbecherwerken werden einsatzgehärtete, hochverschleißfeste Rundstahlketten in Sondergüten entsprechend den Anforderungen der Anlagen eingesetzt. Diese Ketten werden aus legierten Edelbaustählen für Einsatzhärtung in langen Strängen gefertigt. Senkrecht-Becherwerke mit dem Zugmittel Rundstahlkette sind grundsätzlich zweisträngig ausgeführt. Laschenketten werden zweisträngig und einsträngig eingesetzt. In der Einstranganordnung haben sie sich als Zentralkettenbecherwerke (Bild 11a) im Markt verbreitet. In case of plants with a small pulley centre distance (approx. 30 m) as well as mass flows up to approx. 250 t/h carburised round steel chains according to DIN 764 to 766 may be used. These chains are constructed in 3 – 5 – 7 etc. links according to the bucket spacing. In case of applications in heavy-duty chain bucket elevato elevators, rs, carburised, highly wear-resisting round steel chains of special qualities are used according to the requirements of the plants. These chains are made of alloyed special-purpose construction steels for carburising in long strands. Vertical bucket elevators featuring a round steel chain as traction mechanism are basically designed with two strands. Flat link chains are used in two-strand and one-strand designs. Bei Laschenketten, vorzugsweise bei geschmiedeten Ausführungen, werden die Ketten aus je einer e iner Innenlasche und zwei Außenlaschen mittels eines Bolzens durch Pressen (Bild 13a) oder Stecken (Bild 13b) gebildet und in der gewünschten Länge endlos geschlossen. Spezielle Endlosverbindungen werden nicht benötigt.

4.1.2.2 Becherbefestigung Auch bei Kettenbecherwerken sind die auftretenden mechanischen Beanspruchungen vom Becher in das Zugmittel einzuleiten. Die mechanischen Beanspruchungen werden in ihrer Größe im wesentlichen durch die Fördergutaufnahme und die Bechereigenmasse bestimmt. Die Art der Becherbefestigung beeinflußt auch bei dem Zugmittel Kette entscheidend die Nutzungsdauer. Niedrige und gleichmäßige Flächenpressungen zwischen Becherbefestigung und Kette, bei gleichzeitig hoher Oberflächengüte, führen bei sonst gleichen Randbedingungen zu den längsten Standzeiten.
4.1.2.2 Bucket fastening Also in case of chain bucket elevators, the occurring mechanical stresses have to be led from the bucket into the traction mechanism. The magnitude of the mechanical stresses is mainly determined by the receipt of the material to be conveyed and the dead weight of the bucket. The type of bucket fastening also decisively influences influences the life of the chain as traction mechanism. Small, uniform surface pressures between bucket fixing device and chain plus a high surface quality lead to maximum lives in case if all other conditions are the same.

Für Laschenketten wird das Antriebsrad unverzahnt mit austauschbaren, partiell oberflächengehärteten Laufringsegmenten, je nach Ausführung/Kettentyp mit Auflage an Büchsen bzw. Büchsen/Laschen ausgeführt (Bild 21). Die Umlenkräder werden bei Rundgliederketten als unverzahnte Rillenrollen oder als unverzahnte Laufrollen mit glatter Lauffläche eingesetzt. Je nach Hersteller sind diese Rollen aus Wartungsgründen mit austauschbaren Segmenten versehen. Verzahnte Umlenkräder werden nicht eingesetzt. Bei den Taschenbecherwerken werden die nach innen gekehrten Taschen von oben gefüllt und in Mittenaustrag geleert. Diese Bauart von Becherwerken ist zur Gattung der „Langsamläufer“ einzustufen, wie die Becherwerke mit Mittenaustrag (Schwerkraftentleerung) oder eingeschnürte Becherwerke.

Becherwerke mit eingeschnürtem Becherstrang werden größtenteils für schwer aus den Bechern zu entleerende Materialien eingesetzt. Für mittlere bis große Förderhöhen eröffnet der Seiltaschenförderer neue gestalterische Möglichkeiten. Dieser Vertikalförderer Vertikalförderer findet in Einzelfällen Anwendung im Bergbau. Als Zugmittel werden mehrere Kunststoffseile Kunststof fseile mit Aramid-Fasern als Zugträger verwendet.

Case studies of existing bucket elevators Belt bucket elevators are increasingly used at cement works for the charging of rotary furnaces with raw meal. The raw meal is fed into the top end of vertical preheaters which are arranged upstream of the the rotary furnaces. Bucket elevators are used to conv convey ey the raw meal to these heights. VDI 2324 Eine Entstaubung der geschlossenen Fördereinrichtungen wirkt sich positiv auf die Lebensdauer aus und garantiert vor allem nach längerer Betriebszeit und entstehenden Undichtigkeiten einen staubfreien Betrieb. Für Lärmschutzmaßnahmen wird insbesondere auf Abschnitt 1.5.8 des Anhangs I der Maschinen-Richtlinie und die Unfallverhütungsvorschrift „Lärm“ (VBG 121) verwiesen. Allgemein gilt, daß mit der Art des Fördergutes ein erhebliches Lärmpotential verbunden ist. Dies wird im allgemeinen beim Abwurf des Fördergutes im Becherwerkskopf frei. Der Lieferant des Becherwerks muß nach Abschnitt 1.7.4 f. des Anhangs der Maschinen-Richtlinie Aussagen über die Höhe des Lärmpegels abgeben. Ver bindliche Aussagen hierüber sind erst erst nach der Installation des Becherwerks, also während des Betriebs der gesamten, funktional zusammenwirkenden Anlage möglich. Geräuschemissionsmessungen, welche die Geräuscheinflüsse der anderen Teilanlagen auszuschließen ermöglichen, sind insofern durchzuführen. Ein möglicher Aufbau der Antriebseinheit ist der Einbau einer auf der schnellaufenden Getriebeseite wirkenden Rücklaufsperre als Sicherheitselement. Gleichzeitig kann eine außenliegende Doppelbacken bremse eingesetzt werden, die kostengünstig ebenfalls auf der schnellaufenden Getriebeseite anzuordnen ist.

Dust removal from the closed conveying equipment has a positive effect on the life and ensures dust-free operation, particularly following prolonged operation and in case of leakages. With respect to noise-control measures reference is made to Section 1.5.8 of Annex I of the Machinery Safety directive and the Accident Prevention Regulations ”Noise“ (VBG 121). Generally, there is a significant noise potential in the kind of material to be conveyed. This is usually released upon discharging of the material to be conveyed in the bucket elevator head. In accordance with Section 1.7.4.f of the annex of the Machinery Safety directive, the supplier of the bucket elevat elevator or is obliged to give a declared noiseemission value. Reliable and binding statements can only be given when the complete plant acting as one functional unit is operative. Therefore, noise-emission measurements shall be made which allow to exclude noise contributions from other parts of the plant. One possible construction of the driving unit is the installation of a backstop as a safety device on the highspeed side of the gearbox. At the same time, an external double-jaw brake may be used, which is also arranged at moderate costs on the high-speed side of the gearbox.
