TRÍADES DE ESTRUTURA S UPERIOR (TES) É possível desmembrar u acorde e suas respectivas tensões em dois pequenos acordes sobrepostos e diferentes, resultando em um acorde hibrido ou biacorde (às v zes chamado também de poliacorde ). O acorde inferior é compreendido pelo baixo e os sons guia (3ª e 7ª), garantindo a qualidade sonora básica do acor e, enquanto na estrutura superior, têm-se ma triade em posição fechada, que inclui uma ou mais notas de tensão disponíveis na escala do aco de, dando-lhe riqueza. Estas são as chamadas tríades d estrutura superior, também conhecidas co o tríades de extensão superior ou acordes de estrutura extensão superior .
Características do acorde i ferior: a) Os sons guia são in recindíveis; b) O baixo pode ser o itido, especialmente se estiver presente na TES.
Características da TES: a) Deve conter ao menos uma nota de tensão. Obviamente, quanto mais tensões, mais rica será a sonorida e do voicing; b) Deve ser preferencialmente acorde Maior ou menor. Em geral não se usa TES como aumentado e nunca como diminuto; c) Deve estar em posi ão fechada; Características do voicing: a) Os sons guia no acorde inferior e/ou a TES podem ser invertidos; b) O acorde como u todo deve ter clareza harmônica e coesão tímbrica. Para isso, recomenda-se não fastar ou aproximar muito a TES do acord inferior (sugere-se a 3ªm e a 8ªJ como li ites inferior e superior, respectivamente):

Por este fato, sua terminologia é gera mente vinculada aos dominantes, apesar de seres perf itamente aplicáveis sobre quaisquer categorias de acordes. 25.1) TES em acordes d minantes Como dito anterior ente, as TES são geralmente vinculados ao dominantes pelo fato destes oferecerem uma quantida e maior de tensões que outras categorias d acordes e possuirem, por conseqüência, mais tríades disponíveis. Irei agora, com b se nos cinco acordes dominantes mais fr quentes (a escala do V7(#5) é a de tons inteiros, que origina apenas tríades aumentadas sobre se s graus. Sendo assim, este dominante será descartado), gerar as possíveis triades Maiores e menore em cada uma de suas escalas respectivas (por campo harmônico e por enarmonização, caso seja p ssível) e selecionar as que melhor representam o acorde de origem. Para isso, tem-se abaixo algumas dicas a serem seguidas: •

Deve-se descartar as tríades que contenham alguma EV – como sabemos, em música tonal estas notas não são bem-vindas pois gera choque com alguma NO ou com a estrutura harmônica funcional do acord . No caso de música modal, a s r estudado no terceiro volume deste método, veremos que a presença de tas notas é imprecindível; Deve-se descartar as tríades que não contenham notas e tensão, ou seja, que consista apenas na tríade básica (começando pela funa ental) ou na extensão da tétrade (começando na terça do acorde); São preferíveis tríades que contenham ao menos um das tensões características da escala (o todas, dependendo do caso).
