4,350,000,000 Science: Science: One of the most enduring features of our planet, Gondwana (or Gondwanaland) was a composite continent, made up of South America, Africa, Antarctica, India, and Australia, and even at one time included Florida and part of southwest Europe. Gondwanaland is named after the Upper Paleozoic and Mesozoic formations of the Gondwana district of central India, which display a number of shared geologic features (the "Gondwana beds"). In the late nineteenth century, on the basis of comparative geological evidence, the Austrian geologist, Edward Suess, suggested that the continents of Africa, South America, Australia and India were once part of a single supercontinent, which he called "Gondwanaland". Science tells us that the Continents of Australia, India, South America, Africa, and Antarctica, existed together as a separate landmass as long as 650 million years ago. And as these continents only began to break up some 130 million years ago, this great supercontinent had a life of around 520 million years; making it perhaps the most important geological structure of the last billion years. The map shows a reconstruction of the Earth as it was 530 million years ago. Although the land was barren, the shallow seas teamed with primitive life, trilobites, brachiopods, worms, sponges, and many other forms which have since become extinct.
Conclusions: There are thirty Kalpas mentioned in the Puranas. Visnu in the Meghavahana Kalpa became a cloud and showered the earth for a thousand divine years, thus: i. The Earth as a planet is as old as the Universe. It is remade by nuclear fusion during each Kalpa - its bedrock and molten centre reforming. ii. The Earth is made habitable each Kalpa by Lord Skanda – the lord bearing all Shaktis; Living entities are recreated each Kalpa from Lord Visnu. iii. The geological dating of earth rocks is determined by the half-life of radioactive elements; each dissolution causes material reformation of elements (fusion) and the atomic clock is reset. Thus science can only measure a Kalpa or 4.32 billion years - which in fact is the given age of the Earth according to geology. The sun, significantly, significantly, is 5-billion years years old. iv. The Earth, the solar system and every planet and galaxy in the Universe rejuvenates during Kalpasthis happens until the end of the Universe. 1879 Time of Lord Rama 1,750,000 years ago
King Marut, son of Agnivarna of the solar race, nineteen generations after Rama -1,748,100 years ago, mentioned in the Siva Purana. Lord Krsna was born In the 28th aeon of the Dvapara Yuga in the Vaisvata Manvantara of the Varaha Kalpa. – 187,488,000 years ago.
Scriptures: The fourteen manvantaras for this creation cycle are: Svayambhuva, Svarocisa, Uttama, Tamasa, Raivata, Caksusa, Vaivasvata, Savarni, Raucya, Brahma-Savarni, Dharma-Savarni, Rudra-Savarni, Rudra-Savarni, Deva-Savarni, Deva-Savarni, Indra-Savarni. We are in the Varaha Kalpa, the Vaivasvata Manu, and a Sat Yuga cycle which started in 1879, the year Thomas Edison invented the incandescent light globe, because according to scripture: “When the inhabitants of the Earth are able to light the night with their own devices…the Krta (Sat) Yuga will begin through this one advent in time and space…” Because of the Sandhya twilight overlap in Yugas we are still experiencing the negative effects of the last Kali-yuga age. The earth was a single continent during the reign of King Svayambuhva Manu. The earth was developed by this time. The Prajapati’s like the first, Daksa, created living entities mentally, visually and by touch. The Earth was inhabited by Asuras, Gods and animals of great size. The Earth is yet to be seeded for future populations. The great migration of Homo Sapiens in their divine form from other planets to the Earth was still to take place. In each manvantara a partial dissolution takes place called a laya. The worlds experience floods etc., there is recreation after annihilation. At the end of a Kalpa a great dissolution takes place. All the living beings (both moving and non-moving entities) are burnt by the sun’s rays. All of them enter Visnu at the end of Kalpas along with the Adityas (gods). In the new Kalpa (Brahma’s day) , Visnu then reissues forth all living beings. This happens again and again. Lord Rudra annihilates them at the end of each Kalpa. The birth of lord Krsna son of Vasudeva and Dvaipayana Vyasa (VedaVyasa) son of Parashara in the 28 th aeon of the Dvapara Yuga in the Vaivasvata Manvantara of this present Kalpa (Varaha ) took place 187,400,000 years ago. The four Vedas were first classified then from onemillion sloka’s to 100,000 slokas by Vedavyasa. Lord Siva incarnated then as Lakulin, and his sishaya’s were Garga, Mitra, Kusika and Taurusya. At the end of Brahma’s life (100 divine years or 309.173x10^12 solar years; his present age is 51 divine years) a complete dissolution takes place where the whole universe is annihilated. Everything merges into the Supreme Brahman until the next creation cycle.
