PURPOSE The purpose of this assignment are: i.

To apply the theories and models in Social Psychology to understand various individual behaviours during the general election completed recently.

To provide opportunity for learner to integrate the theoretical knowledge learnt into daily life to deepen the understandings on the subject and generate new perspectives in analysing various social issues from the angle of Social Psychology.


This assignment requires you to reflect by observing voters’ individual social behaviours during the 13 th General Election just completed.

TASK By using the theoretical frameworks or concepts in Social Psychology, elaborate your understanding on voters’ social behaviour observed during the current general election by focusing on the FIVE (5) areas listed below: a. Decision to vote or not to vote (about 500 words);


You may use several models, concepts or frameworks under each areas listed above as long as it is within the word limits. Do reading and decide what you want to apply from what you have learnt in this subject.

Include an introduction (about 150 words) and conclusion with critical thinking (about 350 words).
