Las Bambas, es una minera cuprífera, está ubicada a más de 4.000 m.s.n.m. entre las provincias de Grau y Cotabambas, Región Apurímac, en Perú. Producen concentrado de cobre con subproductos de oro, plata y molibdeno. En diciembre de 2015, inician la producción de concentrado de cobre y despachan su primer envío desde el puerto de Matarani (Arequipa) el 15 de enero de 2016 En 2016, inician su producción comercial, luego de una década de exploración, construcción y desarrollo. Es una de las minas de cobre más grandes a nivel global, y ha contribuido a que el Perú se consolide como el segundo mayor productor cuprífero del mundo. .
