Republic of the Philippines Department of Education Division of Misamis Oriental District of Claveria II LANISE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA 2018
It’s school time again! Everyone’s probably feeling excited and maybe a little sad
that summer has ended. Some kids feel nervous or a little scared on the first day of school because of all the new things: new teachers, new friends and maybe even a new school. Luckily, these “new” worries only stick around for a little while.
On the first day of class, June 4, 2018, the teachers and staffs of Lanise Elementary school kicked off the school year by welcoming the pupils and parents warmly with a big smile on their faces. The pupils were so happy to have seen their classmates and friends back in school. It was evidently shown that the pupils were excited and looking forward to their new classroom, new teacher and new classmates. The bell rang, the pupils were lined up on the ground which means flag raising is about to start. The said flag raising led by Mrs. Betty T. Manticahon, Master Teacher 1 has started with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas and so on. Afterwards, Mrs. Flora O. Gadrinab, School Principal 1 gave her welcome message as well as reminders and rules and policies of the school. Thereafter, as the bell rang the second time around, the pupils went to their respective classrooms. Therein, it was observed that the pupils specifically in Kindergarten has more parents present than those in the higher grades. Thankfully, there were no pupils witnessed to have cried because they were afraid or they didn’t
want their mama, papa, nanay or tatay to leave them inside the four corner room.
Most teachers kicked off the school year by introducing themselves and talking about all the stuff they’ll be doing that year. Some teacher gave their pupils a chance to
tell something about themselves to the rest of the class. The teachers also went over the classroom r ules ules so that learners know what’s allowed and what’s not.
It was a great day for the pupils to make new friends. The first of class has been a success!
