Exploring the Curriculum
1. How important is the school’s vision, mission and goals in designing the curriculum? In human life, a goal/plan should be created in order to have his/her guide on how her/his life supposed to be or how s/he wants it to be. A curriculum should be in the same status. An objective is needed in order to direct the change in behavior of the students which is the aim of learning, to change a person to a better citizen. A curriculum should entail this, and in order to create a path for a certain objective, they need to create a vision that redirects the institutions would be like to be in the future. A mission that aims the student on what they will become after being educated, and a goal that tends to set the intents of those things to be accomplished. A vision, mission and goals are important in designing curriculum because it serves as the trademark of the school. In which we need in accomplishing certain goals as well as learning competency. 2. What methods and strategies were employed by the school community to realize these goals?
Since a school plays a very crucial role in exposing pupils to selected values the head and the staff need to devise strategies for promoting them. The head of a school should play a leading role in improving the quality of teaching and learning. As a head you will appreciate that it is your duty and responsibility to ensure that your school is an achieving school, meeting its objectives in an effective and efficient manner. It is therefore in your interest to search for ways and means of improving yourself as a manager.

A motivated learner and teachers must be comprehended to each other. In order to catch up pupil’s attention it must have the passion to teach and eager to approach pupil’s stubbornness. 3. How did the students manifest that they have internalized their vision, mission and goal? Students were giving out a well-mannered attitude as model students. A good moral personality is engaged. They are train and developed their leadership as well as they manifest by a great concern for their fellowmen. They provide a strong educational foundation by offering and maintaining comprehensive basic/general education programs and strengthening pillars of knowledge in the academe in order to produce functional graduates who will be able to meet the needs of both local and global markets.

My Reflection/My Insights
Curriculum is a life blood of education. Administrator of a certain school should implement their mission, vision and objective as bases in making/creating good curriculum. The administrators have this responsibility in developing such matter because they are dealing with the interest of their learner, which could affect their whole future. A well-organized strategy must possess. The importance of a mission, vision and goals serves as the trademark in learning. In order to achieve this you must follow the rules first and have a good moral quality. As a future teacher, we always have to know how to “walk the talk”. In other words, we should practice what we preach. If the vision says so, then the mission must do so. If you promise to achieve something it must not only be spoken but it must also reflect your actions. The strategies and methods are very much wide in variety and these are not used in concentration but in combination. As we have all learned before, there is no single best method. The teaching method is how the teacher delivers content material. These were some of the methods mentioned by the teachers, inductive and deductive method. These methods and strategies help the teachers make the students achieve academic success. Most of these are used in combinations. Furthermore, the school should as well put the GOAL/OBJECTIVE inside the campus and in the classroom. This school failed to implement this important aspect in promoting the school, as well as instilling to the minds of their students for guidance throughout their school life.
