Earthquake is one of the famous disasters that caused people died or injured. It cannot be detected when and where it would be happened to anyone. As part of the Disaster Risk Reduction Management System, Barobo Central Elementary School conducted an earthquake drill last February 21,2019 at 2:00 o’ clock in the afternoon, and actively participated by the pupils, teachers, parents, Mrs. Carlosita A. Cubero our school principal and Mr. Uldarico B. Luarez, our Schools District Supervisor. The plan was instructed and introduced to the pupils. The do’s and don’ts were reminded to everyone. The drill includes arrangement to facilitate control of people during the disaster such as having enough exits.
Pupils, parents and teachers seemed to be prepared, alert and aware during the activities. The drill was evaluated and it turned out to be v ery successfully. To God be the glory!
