Criterion A: Investigate 1 What is a problem in the local community that you could help solve? The Environment in the VI is getting destroyed. Innocent animals die everyday because people don’t take proper care of the environment.
2 Describe a business that could help solve this problem. A rehabilitation centre.
3 Explain what you are going to do to solve the problem. What business are you creating? I am creating a rehabilitation centre in the VI to take care of the injured wildlife in the VI and help them when they need it so that the environments around the VI stays beautiful.
4 Make a list of the essentials and desirable characteristics that you want your business to have. I need to have multiple amounts of cages to care for the animals. I must have a large piece of land for the animals. I must have an area where I can take guests and show them around all of the animals to educate them.
5 Describe a method you will use to test the success of your business. A method to test the successfulness of my business of the feedback I get from the community and how the community feel about what i’m doing. Also whether or not people feel it is worth it to help out and donate to the cause.

Criterion B: Design 1 Identify who your target market and consumers will be and why This doesn’t really apply to my business but I suppose that my consumers will be the schools that I go to and the places I go to educate people about these animals. 2 Explain how your product will reach your customer? (Provide 3 examples) Not Applicable, but I will be going into different schools and go to many places to raise awareness of what is going on. I will also have the organisation on facebook and will try to post daily updates. 3 Conduct research to collect data to show how many possible customers you believe you should have. Represent your data in a graph, you can use this website to create your graph: http://nces.ed.gov/nceskids/createagraph/default.aspx . Don't forget to provide your sources from where you collected the data from. 4

Now looking back at your data, will your business be a success with the target market you chose? Yes, because my business is unlike all other business’ and will be funded largely by the government. 5 Do you need to alter your product to target a bigger audience? If I were in a bigger place then yes I would, but in the BVI no I do not because there is not a big audience. 6 How will you be able to evaluate that your product has reached its target audience? In reality the best way to evaluate my service and that it has reached its target audience is if people start inquiring and donating to my service.
