Praise Prostrations and praises to the body, speech and mind of all the conquerors of the ten directions. Chief of the Wrathful Ones, who shows the single nature of the king of birds, Garuda, Hayagriva and Guhyapati. Just through remembrance destroys a host of obstacles. From this time until we reach enlightenment, pacify all unfavourable conditions for the accomplishment of the Holy Dharma; disease, obstacles, sickness, etc. of the Upper, Lower and Middle Realms, and grant me whatever I desire.
Dedication By the virtue of this May I and all sentient beings Accomplish the state of Shri Guhyapati Vajrapani. Without leaving a single sentient being behind May I be able to liberate them To the state of Shri Guhyapati Vajrapani.
Refuge and Bodhichitta I go for refuge until I am enlightened To the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Supreme Assembly. By this practice of giving and other perfections, May I become a buddha in order to benefit all sentient beings. (3x)
Seven Limb Prayer With my body, speech and mind, humbly I prostrate, And make offerings both set out and imagined. I declare my wrong deeds from all time, And rejoice in the virtues of all. Please stay until samsara ceases, And turn the wheel of Dharma for us. I dedicate all virtues to great enlightenment.
Four Immeasurables May all sentient beings have happiness and its cause. May all sentient beings be free of suffering and its cause. May all sentient beings be inseparable from sorrowless bliss. May all sentient beings abide in equanimity, free of bias, both greed and hatred.
Visualization OM SVABHAVA SHUDDHA SARVA DHARMA SVABHAVA SHUDDHO HAM. All dharmas of samsara and nirvana become like space. From out of the state of emptiness from PAM arises a multi-coloured lotus, above that from RAM a sun disc, above that my own mind as a blue-black letter HUM. From that HUM rays of light shine forth, striking all beings, purifying their sins and defilements, placing them in the state of Shri Guhyapati Vajrapani, and striking and subduing all causers of harm. The rays of light return and dissolve into the HUM. Again from the HUM rays of light shine forth to the ten directions making pleasing offerings to the conquerors and sons. The blessings of their body, speech and mind, power, abilities and attainments are all gathered and dissolve into the HUM. From a transformation of that I arise as Shri Guhyapati Vajrapani with a body blue-black in color, one face and two arms. My right hand holds up to the sky a gold five-pronged vajra; my left is raised to the heart, pointing in a wrathful gesture. My yellow hair is twisting upwards. Out of my hair come three green horse-heads, neighing sharply three times with the snout, overpowering the Three Realms. The neighing of the horse on the right overpowers the male lineages. The

neighing of the horse on the left overpowers the female lineages. The neighing of the middle horse bestows attainments on the practitioner. On the crown of the horse-heads is the King of Birds, Garuda, with a body white in color. He has three eyes, beating his sword-wings and has turquoise horns. He is adorned with a blazing jewel between the horns. With the two hands he eats in the mouth the snakes of the Four Races. His beak is made of a vajra. All the feathers are in the forms of wheels, vajras and swords. Snakes of the Five Races adorn the limbs. The white-spotted snake of the King Race is adorning Guhyapati’s hair. The yellow-spotted snake of the Noble Race serves as his earrings and armlets. The red-spotted snake of the Brahmin Race serves as his necklace and belt. The green-spotted snake of the Craftsman Race serves as his bracelets and anklets. The black-spotted snake of the Outcaste Raceas serves as a long necklace. He has a lower garment of tiger skin. Adorned with all the jewel ornaments he is standing with the right leg bent and the left extended in the middle of a mass of wisdom fire. At the forehead is a white OM. The throat a red AH. At the heart from PAM arises a lotus, from RAM a sun disc, above which stands the blue letter HUM. From that rays of light shine forth to the dharmadhatu palace inviting the Jnanasattva, similar in appearance to myself, to appear in the sky in front of me.
OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA DHUPE PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA ALOKE PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA GANDHE PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA NAIVIDYE PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA SHABDA PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA Shri Guhyapati, the essence of the three assistant deities, please bestow the supreme and common attainments.
Invocation Praying in that way Shri Guhyapati Vajrapani is pleased and enters through the crown of the head. DZA HUM BAM HOH.
Offerings OM SVABHAVA SHUDDHA SARVA DHARMA SVABHAVA SHUDDHO HAM. All dharmas of samsara and nirvana become like space. From the state of emptiness, from OM arises many jewelled bowls wide and expansive. Inside is OM, from the light melting arises the objects of offering which are pure and immeasurable, equal to space. Here make the sense offerings with mudras; OM VAJRA ARGHAM AH HUM, OM VAJRA PADYAM AH HUM, OM VAJRA PUSHPE AH HUM, OM VAJRA DHUPE AH HUM, OM VAJRA ALOKE AH HUM, OM VAJRA GANDHE AH HUM, OM VAJRA NAIVIDYE AH HUM, OM VAJRA SHABDA AH HUM.
I dissolve non-dually dissolving into myself. Having received the consecration from the Races, Akshobhya appears for myself.
Mantra Recitation Around the letter HUM in my heart is the mantra garland. From the circle rays of light shine forth completely filling the inside of the body, purifying the sins and obscurations collected since beginningless time and especially burning apparent demons. Rays of light shine out striking the animate and inanimate world; the inanimate becomes a celestial palace; the sickness, obstacles, sins and obscurations of all beings of the animate world are purified, and they are placed on the level of Guhyapati; pleasing offerings are made to the conquerors and sons. Their blessings and power return and dissolve into myself; obtaining all their qualities, my own power and strength becomes much greater than before. OM VAJRAPANI HAYAGRIVA GARUDA HUM PHAT. Recite the mantra as much as possible.
From my heart issue the offering goddesses to present the offerings. OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA ARGHAM PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA PADYAM PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA OM VAJRAPANI SAPARIWARA PUSHPE PRATICCHA HUM SVAHA 4
