THOM-KATT SERIES AND VS-SERIES WARRANTY Putzmeister, Inc. trailer-mounted concrete Thom-Katt pumps are designed and engineered to perform as stated on published specifications. Only quality material and workmanship are used in the manufacture of these products. With proper maintenance and periodic service, this equipment will provide excellent service. Putzmeister, Inc. warrants each new machine to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of twelve (12) months from date of delivery to initial user, or 1100 pumping hours, whichever comes first. This warranty is issued only to the initial user and promises that Putzmeister, Inc. manufactured products are free from defects in material and factory workmanship. Said warranty is void if the machine is subject to misuse, neglect, accident or abuse. The warranty period begins when the machine is delivered to the initial user, or when first put into service, whichever occurs first. Putzmeister’s obligation under this warranty is limited to correcting, without charge, at its factory, any part or parts thereof which shall be returned to its factory or authorized distributor, transportation prepaid, and upon examination proves to Putzmeister’s satisfaction to have been originally defective. Correction of such defects by repair or replacement shall constitute fulfillment of all obligations to the initial user. This warranty does not include labor or transportation charges nor shall it apply to a machine upon which repairs or alterations have been made, unless authorized by Putzmeister. This warranty does not apply to normal maintenance service or to normal replacement of certain machine parts (such as concrete cylinders, valve mechanisms, delivery systems, etc.) which are subject to normal wear. Putzmeister makes no warranty in respect to Engines, trade accessories or outside purchased components, such being subject to the warranties of their respective manufacturers. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Putzmeister shall not be liable for loss, damage or expense directly or indirectly from the use of its products or from any cause.
