Fusing requirements for Arc flash protection for TB7 (Bus/Utility Voltage Sense)*: If Available Incident energy is > 1.2 Cal/cm2 or 5J/cm2 then the use of current limiting fuses or other suitable means in the lines feeding J22 and TB7** are needed.
The following suggested current limiting fuses will accomplish this: A) Fuse rating: 600Vac, 0.5A, AIC=200kA, fast acting, current limiting, Class CC (e.g. Ferraz Shawmut ATMR ½ or equiv.) B) Use 600Vac rejection type fuse holder with AIC=200kA rating, e.g. Ferraz Shawmut 30323R or equiv. C) Fuses must be placed near the voltage source. * Per NFPA 70E and Cummins Electrical Safety Policy. **Fusing protecting the circuit feeding TB7 must also meet all local code requirements.
