Students’ Response
The teacher will post pictures of two different movie posters namely Titanic and Romeo and Juliet. -
What do you know about these
-
two movies?
These two famous movies are about love.
True, these movies are all about love and in fact, very famous, proven because even these were screened decades ago, you still know it.
-
Did you like the endings of the two movies? Why or why not?

highlighted words that you need to take note of. I also said that to understand its meaning through the sentence itself. Tell me the meaning of those words and how you arrived to such conclusion. -
That is correct, as well as on how

splattered stain, raying like the shadow of a bursting bomb. I imagined colors because of the
ray, however it was gray. The bursting bomb made me think that something wet burst out and led me to think that splatted also means splashed.
Let’s see if knowing those words helped you understand the text. Recall

How will you describe the house keeper based on her actions?
-
She was selfish. She did not tell what really happened in the room. Just for the sake of having earnings, she lied.
The story you read was not finished yet. But before we reveal the ending. You could give its ending yourselves. Group yourselves into five with 5 or six members. Discuss on how you want the story to end. Make sure that when you write your endings, it will be connected to the previous scenes. You have ten minutes to discuss with your group mates.
After the students were able to create their ending, the teacher will have it reported by the students.
I hope that you are contended with your endings and you will be more than satisfied after knowing the real ending.
The real ending was: “She has been called handsome, as you say,” Mrs. Purdy saying, assenting but critical, “but for the mole she had a- growin’ by her left eyebrow. Do fill your glass again Mrs. McCool,”

Who do you think was the girl

The girl was the young man’s girlfriend.
