Vishay$s goal is about to fulfill all the expectation of customer' which is for the purpose of gaining mar-et share and build Vishay to be a winner within electronic components industry (Vishay Intertechnology' Inc #,0). urrently' Vishay is facing an important issue on how to support the rapid growth in Asia (Vishay Intertechnology Asia 1 ase /ac-ground #,#). Vishay realised that Asia will become the highest mar-et shares in this worldwide electronic components manufacturer industry compared to 2urope and 3orth America. In addition' Vishay will face another issue o+er next few years' which is pricing competition in Asia (Vishay Intertechnology Asia 1 ase /ac-ground #,#). First' the main cause of the issue is because most of the functions associated with electronics manufacturing are done in Asia4 and e+en some of the companies mo+e their manufacturing to Asia in order to increase their competiti+eness (Vishay Intertechnology Asia 1 ase /ac-ground #,#). his is because most of the companies want to reduce their cost by en5oying low labour cost in Asia. 6oreo+er' the importance of the issue being criti7ued is because it will lead to loss of mar-et share of Vishay. hus' Vishay need to ma-e decisions immediately to support the rapid growth in Asia. If their mar-et share was affected' their profit will also be affected. /esides' as the demand is increasing' Vishay should ta-e this opportunity to increase their profit and maximise shareholders$ +alue. At the same time' good financial performance will attract shareholders to in+est in Vishay. In conclusion' Vishay must ma-e a decision to o+ercome the issue of rapid expand in Asia and pricing competition to maintain or increase Vishay$s mar-et share in Asia and maximise profit as well. herefore' Vishay need to -eep pace and understand technology re7uirement in Asia. Apart from these issues' when Vishay support the rapid growth better wor-ing en+ironment is re7uired to employees.
