UI!"# is an agency of the United ations devoted to serving the world$s children, and has been providing assistance to the %hilippines since &'(). *he UI!"# has more than + people working to promote promote and protect the rights of children in our country today, toda y, and to provide p rovide the best -uality of life for every #ilipino child through programmes that help them survive s urvive and ourish. *his organi/ation implement implement programmes programmes covering education, health health and nutrition, disaster risk reduction and emergencies, 0I1 and AID2 prevention, prevention, child protection, communication, communication, and local policy and institutional development.
