1) Hector as a Brother to Paris - As a brother, he was w as so protective. He will do everything to defend his brother. Knowing that Paris is a bit on the soft side, he served as his strength. He was always telling his brother to be a man and have courage. He was also supportive of him. All in all, he was a loving brother. 2) Agamemnon as Brother to Menelaus - As a brother, he was w as also supportive of his brother (when Menelaus asked for his help to start a war against Troy, he agreed). But I can also say that he is also a bit selfish because he agreed to start a wa r for his own benefit and that is to conquer Troy and not for his h is brother’s purpose to take Helen back. But it was also evident that he loves his brother because when he was killed, he became so furious. 3) Helen as a wife to Menelaus - I think she was a very submissive wife to Menelaus. She was there for him and she did everything he says. I don’t know the reason why she has to stay with him if she doesn’t feel happy at all, maybe because he has captured her and he has no choice but to be his wife. All in all, as a wife, he h e was there for him physically but in reality, she doesn’t love him. 4) Helen as a wife to Paris - In contrary, Helen was very loving to Paris. You can see that she really feels something for him. She was very nurturing and caring to Paris (you can see that when she nursed Paris after his fight). She was everything that was opposite when she was still with Menelaus because she was very cold to him. Maybe because Paris really makes her feel special and loved unlike Menelaus who makes her feel like she doesn’t exist. 5) Andromache as a wife to Hector - As a wife, Andromache is very caring to Hector. She was always concerned about his welfare and would always stop him when he will be out for battle. She loved Hector very much and wouldn’t want him to be hurt. She is also a very strong woman to go out and watch Hector battle with Achilles. Even though he was dead, she still found courage to continue her life and escape the city for their son. 6) Agamemnon as a Leader - Agamemnon is a very greedy and selfish leader. He wasn’t concerned about the welfare of his army. He doesn’t care if how many soldiers will die just so that he could get what we want. He doesn’t value his soldiers or think that they deserve to be acknowledged. For him, he’s the king, and all the glory should be his.
7) Achilles as a Leader - Achilles, as a contrary is a great leader. He would lead his army and say encouraging words to them before their battle. No wonder his subordinates love him and would like to accompany him in every fight he will face. He cares about their welfare.
8) Priam as a Father - Priam is a very loving father. He supports his son when they are out for battle. He would do everything for them (it is evident when he kissed the hands of the man who killed his son just to get his son’s body and hold a proper funeral ritual for him). But I can say that he doesn’t trust them completely because if he only listened to what Paris said and burned the horse, their city would be saved. He would rather listen to his advisers than to his son. 9) Hector as a Father - Hector is also protective and loving to his son. He is very much concerned about his welfare. That’s the reason why he showed the secret passage to Andromache, for them to be able to escape whatever happens to the city. 10) Priam as an Enemy - Priam is a very forgiving enemy. He is very humble and is not violent. He may be furious but he doesn’t let his emotion get the best of him. He believes he still needs to do what is right. If he must kneel to his enemy and kiss him, he would do it. He has mercy. 11) Achilles - Achilles is a merciless enemy. If he is furious at someone, he would do anything to kill him. He doesn’t care as long as he gets his revenge. He doesn’t have a bit of sympathy, all he knows is that he must make the offender suffer. If someone wrongs him, he lets his emotion take over him and he loses all his conscience. He just wants to take him down.
