C. Community
1. Environment
According to Allen Hershkowitz of the Natural Resources Defense Council, a New York city-based, non-profit international environmental
advocacy group, the debate on whether to use plastic bags or paper bags depends on the place you live. Plastic bags threaten wildlife along the coasts, so if that's where you call home, Hershkowitz says the choice should be paper. In the heartland, he says it's plastic. *1* Owing to the fact that the Philippine is an archipelago and considering the view of Natural Resources Defense Council’s Senior Scientist, we can draw a conclusion that the usage of brown paper bags is to be preferred here in our country.
The proposed shift in packaging will eliminate the adverse effects that the usage of plastic bags has been causing like

2. Public
This feasibility study aims to improve the living standards of the general public by providing employment while strictly complying with the legal requisites such as paying taxes and other fees that the government imposes.
The company will provide employment to interested and qualified individuals which will immediately reduce the unemployment rate on a microeconomic level. Allowing them to earn income for themselves nurses their everyday needs and more income entails greater demand for other commodities which will, again, help the employees improve the economic conditions of their localities on a small but constant scale.
Prompt and honest payment of taxes and other fees that the government imposes is one of the aims of the company. In doing so, the company hopes that, even in a small scale, it will augment the government total revenues that will be used in projects that will cater to the needs of the public. Also, Boom Bag sees this as an opportunity to fulfill its aspiration of establishing a reputation of
truthfulness by being a model taxpayer - reflecting true information about its financial status and promptly paying correct amounts of taxes.
3. Industry
In the present, eleven (11) LGUs have already implemented plastic total bans and plastic reduction ordinances. However, it is evident that there are few numbers of brown paper bag manufacturers within the National Capitol Region and most of the dealers within the Metro are importing brown paper bags abroad such as China. Coping up with the continuous rising demand, this feasibility study endeavors to increase the number of suppliers that will cater to the brown paper bag needs of Quezon City and to strengthen the position that the Filipinos have in the industry. It is expected that having more players in an industry makes it healthier through their competition which will further improve the economic conditions on a microeconomic level.
