OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001:2007 is the internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems that was first published in 1999 and revised in 2007. The main driving force behind OHSAS 18001 was British Standards Institute (BSI). It has been designed to be compatible with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. OHSAS 18001 is NOT an ISO management system, nether was ISO involved in its development.
MS 1722 Malaysian Standard (MS) 1722: Part 1:2005 is a Malaysian Standard on Occupational Safety & Health Management System adopted from the International Labour Organisation’s Standard, ILO-OSH 2001. Among the objective of this standard is to: i.
