Advanced automatic battery test functions with battery block voltage measurements ! Temperature compensated battery charging ! Remote monitoring function through serial RS232C link and windows based software PSM magic ! Standards: EN 60 950, EN 55 022, IEC 1000-4 ! Dimensions 180x116x30mm (HxWxD) The Ascom PCS 1000 is a powerful microprocessor based Power System Controller ideally suited to supervise and control modular power systems for telecom applications. It is compatible with all rectifier modules from Ascom Energy Systems. The PSC 1000 meets the european safety standard EN 60 950 and the european EMC standard for Informaton Technology equipment EN 55 022. The superior functions make the controller a prime choice for your telecom power system: - System supervision with display of system- voltage and current, battery- voltage, current and temp. - Alarms: major, minor, mains failure, alarm stop, battery failure and battery test indication. - Rectifier supervision: all rectifiers ok, one rectifier not ok and more than one rectifier not ok. - Battery supervison and charging control: temperature compensation, boost and equalize, advanced automatic battery test with blockvoltage measurements (optional). - Supervision of fuses, circuit breakers and the mains. - Low battery voltage control: Battery and /or load disconnection at mains failure. - Programmable charging voltage, user configurable alarms and settings through keypad. - System activities are time stamped and stored in an event log. Monitoring history of essential system parameters are stored for 3 years in weekly buckets. - Remote monitoring functions with RS232C serial link and windows based software PSM magic.
