PRC-117 Programming a net on the PRC-117 -Ensure the 117 is in the CT position -Press the program (#8) key -Select Norm -Select Net -Select the net you are going to modify (00-99) Note: When programming the 117 for the Strike Link, the net must be above 82. (I believe 82 is the number, I will double check with Ssgt. Meyer next drill to confirm this.) -Select Yes -Select Freq Hop -Select SINCGARS -Select Hopset (compartment 21-25) -Select off -Select No -Select Vinson -Select Encryption Key 01 -Select No, then if you do not return to the main screen for the net you are programming, select clear -Select General -Hoptype, select Sincgars -Select Hopset Copy, and copy your hopset to your net
-Input your Net ID -Hit Clear
Changing time on the PRC-117 -Ensure the radio is in CT -Select OPT Key (7) -Scroll to Time -Select GTOD -Put in the time, then clear out to the main menu
