Risks and Concerns
Inter-working strategy during roll out:
The inter-working strategy may need to be modified according roll out status;
Due to RNC Capacity, the U2100/U900 Rehoming is required after new RNC integration;
1.
Without U900:
If not implement MTRF, use different TAC for L900 from L1800 and L2100.
After implement MTRF, use same TAC for 900, 1800 and 2100 but longer call setup time will be observed if CSFB from L900 to U850.
2.
With U900 on air together with L900:
Use same TAC for L900 1800 and 2100
Use same LAC for U2100 and U900 for smooth CSFB
With same PLMN, LAC U2100 and G900 cannot be the same due to limited configuration in CS core.
