P The Holistic healing system, system, popularly known as “ALTERNATE MEDICINE”, which consciously activate and manipulates the inner talent, ability and aspects of human body and mind for effectively dealing with diseases provides us an answer. There are about 150 alternate therapies in this world which uses natural form and technique to heal a human body. body. Some therapies are used to heal a person physically while some are used to cure a person physically and mentally both. Out of them my focus is on Reiki, Pranic Healing and Sujok Therapy. These therapies act as an alternative as well as a complementary to the Western medicine or conventional therapies. Reiki is a Japanese therapy, therapy, whereas, Sujok and Pranic Healing originate from Chinese tradition (1980’s). All these three methods have been a part of Indian literature; mentioned in Atharvaveda, Rugveda, Patangjali Sutra, Jain Mimansha, Mimansha, Bible, etc… Despite bearing the brunt of years of mockery from mainstream medicine, alternative remedies continue to gain in popularity among the people whole over the world who actually want to cure their ills and improve their health. Complementary and Alternative Healing includes a large number of practices and systems of health care that, for a variety of cultural, social, economic, or scientific reasons, have not been adopted by mainstream Western medicine.

D I look forward to built a Holistic Healing and Learning Center, Center, a wellness hub consisting of alternate therapies and techniques. A medical care system that views physical, mental, emotional as well as spiritual aspects of life as closely interconnected and equally important approaches to treatment. Briefly, Briefly, the goal is a wellness center that encompasses the entire person, rather than just the lack of physical pain or disease; also a learning / education institute to teach the alternate therapies or techniques for holistic healing of both the soul and body; and providing attunement to those students / participants. This form of alternate treatment is now gathering popularity as people choose to bond with the dynamics of nature. In short, my basic focus is on the question – question – How How architecture can be therapeutic and how can we design spaces which have a ‘healing’ and ‘therapeutic’ quality to them t hem taking inspiration from nature and considering elements like water-bodies, landscaping, sun-light, sun-light, natural contextual elements etc…?

I Complementary medicine is a group of diagnostic and therapeutic disciplines that are used together with conventional medicine. Alternative Alternative medicine practices are used instead of standard medical treatments. I Complementary And Alternative Therapies and Medicines fall into five major categories, or domains: 1.Alternative Medical System Systemss Alternative medical systems are built upon complete systems of theory and practice. Often, these systems have evolved apart from and earlier than the conventional medical approach used in the United States. Examples of alternative medical systems that have developed in Western cultures include homeopathic medicine and naturopathic medicine. Examples of systems that have developed in non-Western cultures include traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda.
2.Mind-Body Interventions Mind-body medicine uses a variety of techniques designed to enhance the mind's capacity to affect bodily function and symptoms. Some techniques that were considered CAM in the past have become mainstream (for example, patient support groups and cognitive-behavioral therapy). therapy). Reiki is one of several techniques and methodologies which can 'open' or 'free' chakras that are blocked (which causes other chakras to become over-active), and thereby to restore a person's natural balance.
R The seven chakras are written wr itten about often, and representations of the chakra system can vary slightly, slightly, although the essential principles and definitions are generally consistent. 'Hands On' Reiki A Reiki treatment is given fully clothed. The Reiki recipients' privacy, privacy, modesty and dignity are always respected. For enhanced relaxation, the recipient is usually lying down, but could be sitting or even standing. There are seven classic positions where generally the practitioner will place his/her hands on or over the recipient. The shape of the site is a horizontal stretched towards east, which I was looking for, as it serves as a catalyst to work upon my concept and segregate the zones of different functions. An existing lake (water body) in the north of the site. An existing canal covers the site in the north and west direction of the site, works as a segregation from the other agricultural lands, Sardar Patel Ring Road and also directs the way towards the site from the main road. The site is already proposed for an institutional project and is just 1.5 kms. away from the Bhadaj village and 2.8 km from the Ring Road. It is easily accessible from the main road through public and private transportation due to an existing landmark (Science City) nearby.
Though nearby the main road and the Bhadaj village, it is silent and isolated from the public and vehicular traffic, any kind kind of public activity and any kind of pollution. Thus, this ‘isolation’ serves the purpose and the need of my proposal.

C I initiated firstly with working upon the Great Pyramid which I have to connect with the prayer hall. I started with different options of placing the prayer hall and the meditation hall whether I must place inside the pyramid or as a different different building block keeping a bridge as an entrance to the prayer hall and the meditation hall, the wholly surrounded by water. C I have considered the number ‘9’ as the base of my concept. First of all, I allotted the areas to each function and spaces in the multiple or the factor of 9. Further, Further, I divided my site in 9 parts, and later each part into 9 equal parts as I wanted to consider symmetricity, symmetricity, a perfect geometry as one of the main aspects of my design. Keeping in mind the magic square (described in the last para of this page), I considered the main axis as North-South axis and started segregating the different functions and spaces in correspondence to the main axis and the equal divisions. The main building blocks such as the meditation hall, meditation pockets pockets and the seminar areas, in short, the part of the t he institute used for providing training and practice, were placed on the main N-S axis with the meditation pockets pockets responding the lake . The placement of functional blocks was done on the basis of the activity pattern of the patients and the participants. Near to the main entry was placed the treatment / healing zone, admin area, the multi-galleria. The accommodation and the kitchen – kitchen – dining dining zoning was done on the south-west and the north-west respectively and most away from the main entry so as to form a disconnection between these spaces and the treatment zone. Being in the middle, the spaces on the major axis, i.e. meditation spaces and t raining areas connects the treatment – treatment – admin admin zone and the accommodation – accommodation – eatery eatery zone in the paradoxical directions. Also, the functions on the major axis are highlighted and emphasized by a jogging track surrounding them. The magic square is considered sacred and and full of power in the Islamic, Tibetan, Buddhist, Celtic, Indian and Jewish t raditions.
