Murder Mystery Script - Phantom Cruise...

Instructions to the Host: 1. This murder mystery needs every guest to be in attendance, so plan ahead. I suggest invitations go out early, so guests can prepare their costumes (This murder mystery does not include costume suggestions, but you are welcome to be as creative as you want with them or not use them at all). 2. This murder mystery was s pecially created to not off end end anyo ne, es pecially marr ied couples. So, to not make couples f lir t with other s than their own s pouse or date, please pair the couples as follows: a. Bryce Stratton and Mar ilyn Moo re b. Zachary Judd and Tiana Quinn c. Dimitra Franek and Hans Franek d. R ichard Moore and Sher i Moore e. Fred Major s and Zyra Byrne 3. The invitation is included at the end of th of the murder mystery. Each invitation should include a character syno psis for their character. Guests do not need information about other guests. 4. Make sure to inser t your address and information on the invitation! 5. I believe this murder mystery will go more smoothly if you have fir st st read thr ough it so you know when to use the clues. 6. Prepare the clue handwr itt itten and hide it somewhere in the r oo oom (The clue is found at the end of th of the murder mystery). 7. Pr int out enough co pies of th of the News paper the Miami the Miami Angle (separate attachment) and place them in the r oo oom for peo ple to read. 8.

9. Pr int the Solution Document and Conf essio n. Staple them together and give them to the murder victim when she comes back as Loren, the shi p p captain. 10. Each per so son receives a ³boo klet´ the night of th of the murder mystery. Pr int out enough booklets for each guest, including one page of rules and the cruise information (both on next page) at the beginning of each boo klet. 11. Use a paper cutter to slice each page in half , but BE CAREFUL not to get pages out of o of order as you do this. If needed, go back to your computer as you are stapling the pages to gether to make sure they are in the same order as on the computer. 12. Name 12. Name tags will help the game along. 13. You may want to make ³awards´ for the best costume and best actor/actress and have the guests vote. 14. 15. You, the host, are in charge of announcing when it is time to turn the pages in the boo klets. Make sure all the clues for that r ound have been given before instructing guests to move on. You can usually gauge this by the lull in conver sations. Or, you can always ask if everyone is ready to move on. They will tell you. 16. Dur ing the murder mystery r ound 2, once you believe all information has been divulged and conver sations are dying down, watch for Mar ilyn to ip to find that treasure shi p. How are you going to afford the tr p ip now that my parents have say to Hans, ³Sorry I messed things over for your tr p pulled out?´ Once she has said this and walked walked away, turn out the lights until she screams screams and falls to the ground. Then turn them back on. This will ensure that everyone is still a sus pect. 17. Enjoy!

He is handsome and r ich; a per fe ct catch. Yet he is inf atuated with Mar ilyn Moo re and believes that if he keeps up his pur suit she will eventually f all for him. He tr ies hard to win her attention, but she barely notices him. Mar ilyn¶s parents invited him on this cruise because they want him to win over Mar ilyn. Make sure your costume has a pill bott le with some candy (pills) in it.

Say that the chemicals in Mar ilyn¶s body are toxic and can cause illne ss in the other guests if the mystery is not solved quickly. No one can leave the par ty until the murderer has been found out and the body has been removed saf ely. Tell them that police are surr ounding the area and are ready to move forward at your command.
