Our company choose the functional structure as the structure in which task and jobs are grouped according to the function they perform within the organization. Moreover, the function structure are based on specialization which is the manager every department will get focus on a particular job or task is order to perform effectively and efficiently. On other hand, the manager also get to closer with their employee. It is because, every task had they do based on cohesive work group. So, at this time they will share opinion, discussion about every task had do they. On the positive side , functional structures also get support task specialization and get help employees develop better job-related skills. In addition, work groups will may be more cohesive because employees work with individual with similar skills and interests and the group’s leader has a common functional orientation with the group members. Finally, this structure supports tight, centralized control and tends to contribute to operational efficiency.
10
CHAIN OF COMMAND The important in aspect of working relationship in our company is chain of command. The chain of command delineates the line of authority and responsibility that flows throughout the organization and identifies the supervisor and subordinate relationships (who report to whom) that govern decision making. Ideally, each employee should report to and be accountable to only one supervisor. This is called unity of command. The concept of a well defined chain of command was originally advance by the classical management theorists. In its purest form, the concept is consistent with the bureaucratic organizational system. Although contemporary managers still embrace the idea of a chain of command, the flexibility of the organization to respond to change quickly and proactively may be severely limited when decision making is rigidly tied to the official hierarcy. For that reason, organizations may need to find ways to be flexible in their chain of command and yet find ways to hold people and department accountable for result
SPAN OF CONTROL The important aspect of working relationship is span of control which is the number of employees who report to a single manager. In our organization, we are supposed use span of control which is narrow span of control. We use the narrow span of the control when the tasks are very complex. This also allow the manager to spend more time with each subordinated. Besides that, the manager also will less overcommitted and overburden. It is because the manager with have more time to analyze situation to make effective decision. In our company each our department manager may have more time to analysis situations, make effective decisions & execute the actions associated, with their decisions. Moreover, our manager will be more effective to handle the report of subordinates
11
LINE & STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES In our company, each department divided into line position and staff position. The line position is directly involves in delivering product & services of our company. Meanwhile the staff position is to provide support to line position. They can discuss together but only the line position can made decision. In this process we will make some decision with do the delegation. Delegating authority well includes important steps. They are decide which goals or tasks to delegate, make assignment, grant authority, hold responsible / accountable, and monitor. All are essential to the success of the delegation process. For example when have a problem in marketing department, the manager this side will take over this problem. They will settle this problem uses the step of decision making which is identifying opportunities & diagnosing problems, identifying objectives, generating alternatives, evaluating alternatives, reaching decisions, choosing implementation strategies, monitoring & evaluating. So, with this delegation the step of decision making had help the manager to control their department with success.
TYPES OF DEPARTMENTALIZATION Based on our organizational structure, we are using by functional departmentalization. For example, we are gathering all production together, all marketing task together and all finance task together. These mean we doing task & jobs in grouped based to functions they perform within our organization.
LOCUS OF DECISION MAKING (DECENTRALIZED) We maintain the decision making at the lower level, such as the department and employee, which mean decentralized decision making. In this term, if any problem happen, we can refer to the people who are closest to the situation, usually referring to people at the lower level could make better and faster decisions. The employee and subordinates are capable to make decision making. Then, the growing diversity of the working has increased the variability in decision making.

We had set our plans enlarge our company or in other word to increase more branches of our company besides making our services and products much better and more comfort. In our organization, we had chosen feed forward control which is provide the quality of inputs to prevent problems in transformation For examples, provides the comfortable and peaceful place, set up the relevant charges of services and products and employ a good employee. After that, Concurrent control which is to monitor on going activities to ensures that the transformation process are functioning properly and achieving result. COMMUNICATION AEON company has choose vertical communication approach as communication method to communicate with our employees. This method works and effective for our businesses until now. Furthermore, we also easy to reach our employees and make them work more effectively and diligently without any pressure or any problems. Vertical communication is a flow of information both up & down the chain of command. This will make us to be more close to our employees. So that’s why we use this communication method as this method is very appropriate with our business that is.
Vertical communication can be used in two ways:
I.
Downward communication – is a message sent from individual at higher levels of the organization to those at lower level. For example, when we want to inform certain matters to our employees, we just direct inform to them. This way of communication being practice all the time in our company.
II.
Upward communication – is a message sent up the line from subordinates to supervisors. This type of communication show that our management also received idea and opinion from our employees or any report from them. Example, if our employees have problem with our public holidays offer or else, they can direct problems to the management team. So we can discuss the problems and find the solution to overcome it.
16
Besides that, our company also used other method for our communication. The first one is Oral communication: -
Oral communication is all forms of spoken information, this type of communication preferred by most managers. The simplest example that we can take is during the meeting, it was one of oral communication.
The second is Written communication: -
written communication is letter, memos, policy manuals, reports, forms and other written. This method is the second most common way used by us to communicate with our employees.

A lot of planning need to do for maintain the company stability. We also know that not only upper level person is important but lower level person is also important for an organization. The managers must have a lot of knowledge to manage the company, employees and marketing. Employees must give full support and commitment to their manager and the company if they want to achieve the company goals. We feel satisfied after we finished this business research in our group.
