BASES DE CÁLCULO Y ESTRUCTURACIÓN 1. OBJETIVO El objetivo de la presente memoria de cálculo describe los criterios adoptados para la evaluación estructural del monopolo bridado facetado existente de 30m propiedad de América Móvil S.A.C. (EBC PACIFICO), ubicada en el Distrito de Chimbote, Provincia del Santa, Departamento de Ancash, a la cual se proyecta ampliar el número de antenas de enlaces microondas y equipos de Telecomunicación a solicitud de América Móvil S.A.C. En la presente también se especifican los materiales utilizados, las cargas consideradas, sus combinaciones, método de análisis, las normas y códigos que se emplearán en el presente informe.
2. ALCANCES Para la evaluación estructural del monopolo bridado facetado existente de 30m se realizó considerando fundamentalmente las fuerzas producidas por la acción del viento, que es la condición más desfavorable para este tipo de estructuras esbeltas.
De acuerdo a las especificaciones dadas por América Móvil, las estructuras de su propiedad deberán de ser diseñadas y evaluadas para una velocidad de viento de supervivencia de 120Km/h, para la velocidad de operación se considerará 90Km/h para su verificación.
Las expresiones usadas para determinar la presión del viento tanto en la estructura metálica como en las escalerillas, antenas de RF, antenas de MW y demás accesorios del monopolo son dadas por la norma TIA EIA 222‐F.
3. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO La estructura ha evaluar consta de dos partes básicas, la estructura principal (monopolo facetado bridado) y la plataforma triangular a tope del monopolo donde se ubican las antenas de RF.
La estructura principal del monopolo está compuesta por 05 módulos de sección dodecágono (12 caras) de 6.00m de altura cada uno. Los módulos están unidos mediante 12 pernos de 1” y 7/8” (dependiendo de los módulos a unir).
La plataforma triangular está ubicada a tope del monopolo tiene 3.00m de lado, sobre el cual se encuentran instaladas 07 antenas de RF pertenecientes a Claro, por debajo de la plataforma a 21.00m aproximadamente se ubican 2 soportes independientes en los cuales se encuentran instalados 04 antenas de RF adicionales pertenecientes a Telmex. Adicionalmente existen 06 enlaces MW.
El monopolo se encuentra apoyado sobre un pedestal de concreto, el cual presenta desprendimiento del tarrajeo y rajaduras en el borde de la brida base de la estructura principal, por lo tanto se recomienda realizar unas pruebas y análisis a la cimentación para garantizar el estado de la misma.
La carga adicional a instalar es una antena MW de diámetro de 1.20m a una altura de 24.00m para poder realizar el enlace entre la EBC Vesique y la EBC Pacifico.

4. NORMAS DE DISEÑO Las normas a ser consideradas en la presente evaluación estructural del monopolo son las siguientes:

American Concrete Institute.” iv. Norma Técnica E‐090 – Reglamento Nacional de Edificaciones (RNE)
La verificación estructural del monopolo, se realiza fundamentalmente para las fuerzas producidas por la acción del viento que es la condición más desfavorable en este tipo de estructuras.
Las expresiones usadas para determinar la presión del viento tanto en la estructura metálica principal como en los accesorios son las dadas por la Norma TIA EIA 222‐F.
Para la verificación de los elementos del monopolo, usaremos el Código Americano de Telecomunicaciones TIA EIA 222‐F, capítulo 3, numeral 3.1.14.1 en donde se acepta la utilización de los esfuerzos permisibles según lo normado por el American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
En tal caso no es necesario aplicar coeficientes de seguridad a las cargas actuantes, ya que las fórmulas de los esfuerzos admisibles establecidos en el AISC ya tienen factores de seguridad que reducen su valor y que están en función de la esbeltez de sus miembros.
5. MATERIALES Los materiales utilizados en la verificación del monopolo son los siguientes: ‐
Perfilería: Acero ASTM A36 (fy = 36Kips).
‐
Pernería: Acero estructural ASTM A325 o similar (SAE Grado 5).
‐
Soldadura: Electrodos E70XX.
6. METODO DE ANALISIS El análisis estructural del monopolo se realizó usando un análisis elástico lineal considerando el Método de Tensiones Admisibles (ASD), bajo el supuesto de pequeñas deformaciones de modo que la estructura se comporte bajo la teoría elástica lineal.
Para el diseño de los elementos del monopolo, se ha usado el Código Americano de Telecomunicaciones TIA EIA 222 ‐ F, capítulo 3, numeral 3.1.14.1 acepta la utilización de los esfuerzos permisibles según lo normado por el American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
Las fórmulas empleadas se encuentran en los numerales 1.5.1.3.1 y 1.5.1.3.2. del manual AISC, siendo estas las siguientes:

Fy = Esfuerzo de fluencia mínimo. E = Módulo de elasticidad. L = Longitud no arriostrada del elemento desde ambos puntos de conexión. r = Radio de giro de la sección transversal. K = Coeficiente de longitud efectiva del elemento.
Las normas TIA/EIA – 222 – F en su numeral 3.1.1.1 establecen que para estructuras de altura menores a 213 mts como en el presente caso, los esfuerzos permisibles obtenidos según el AISC pueden ser incrementados en 1/3, lo que se tendrá en cuenta al verificar los elementos.
En cuanto a la relación de esbeltez para miembros en compresión, en el numeral 3.1.12 considera como máximo kl/r < 150 para las montantes, kl/r < 200 para los elementos de arriostre y Kl/r < 250 para los elementos redundantes o miembros en compresión que no hayan sido calculados. Para este tipo de estructuras se asume K= 1.0
Para elementos en tracción: Trac Cap = Esfuerzo de diseño (Fa) x Área de la sección transversal Fa = 0.6 fy ó Fa = 0.5 fu, el que sea menor.
7. CARGAS DE EVALUACIÓN ESTRUCTURAL Se ha tomado en cuenta las siguientes cargas para la verificación del monopolo:
Cargas Permanentes (D)
Las cargas permanente son aquellas que provienen del peso propio de las estructuras y que forman parte del sistema resistente de la misma, como es la estructura metálica principal (módulos bridados), también son consideradas cargas permanentes sobre la estructura pero que no contribuyen al sistema resistente de la misma, por ejemplo:
plataforma metálica de antenas RF, soportes metálicos, antenas, escaleras de acceso, escalerilla cable rack, empalmes y demás accesorios parte del monopolo.
Las antenas existentes, propiedad de CLARO son: ‐
4 Antenas RF (2G) de 1.20m x 0.30m, ubicada a 30.60m del monopolo. Montadas sobre la plataforma triangular ubicada en la cima del monopolo.

3 Antenas RF (2G) de 2.40m x 0.30m, ubicada a 30.60m del monopolo. Montadas sobre la plataforma triangular ubicada en la cima del monopolo.

1 Antena MW de 0.60m, instalado en soporte metálico a 31.50m del monopolo.

1 Antena MW de 0.60m, instalado en soporte metálico a 29.00m del monopolo.

Las antenas existentes, propiedad de TELMEX son: ‐
4 Antenas RF de 0.60m x 0.20m, ubicada a 21.00m del monopolo. Montadas sobre soportes pivotantes metálicos.
La antena proyectada a solicitud de AMERICA MOVILES S.A.C.: ‐
1 Antena MW de 1.20m, instalado en soporte metálico a 25.50m del monopolo.
Cargas Eventuales
Sobrecarga de uso (L) Un total de 200 Kg. aplicados en el extremo superior de la estructura la cual considera el peso de 2 técnicos y herramientas.
Viento (W) Para la verificación estructural se ha considerado un análisis tridimensional de la estructura aplicando fuerzas producto del viento orientadas a 0°, 45°, 90°, 135º, 180°, 225°, 270° y 315°.
De acuerdo al mapa de isotacas la velocidad de viento esperada en esta zona para una probabilidad de excedencia del 5% en 50 años es de 75 Km/h, sin embargo de acuerdo a lo indicado en los requerimientos técnicos de América Móvil S.A. la velocidad de evaluación es de 120 Km/h, por lo cual, esta fue la utilizada en el presente estudio.

Para la verificación de los desplazamientos se utilizará la velocidad de viento de 90Km/h (velocidad operacional).
Sismo (E) No se considera pues la acción del viento es preponderante ante la acción sísmica.
Nieve (S) No se solicito verificar la estructura con carga de nieve, por ende este efecto no es considerado en el presente informe.
8. DEFORMACIONES Se considerará la deformación máxima de la estructura al valor medido en la cúspide del monopolo asociado a una desangulación recomendada por la TIA‐EIA‐222‐F. A solicitud de América Móvil S.A.C. los desplazamientos máximos serán medidos a una velocidad de operación de 90Km/h y son: ITEM Deflexión Torsión

9. COMBINACIONES DE CARGA Para obtener las combinaciones de carga que se utilizarán en el análisis de la estructura se debe cumplir con lo expuesto en las norma AISC (ASD 89). Do (Carga Muerta) + Wi (Carga de Viento) Las cargas aplicadas para la evaluación de la estructura son las siguientes: Case 100: cargas permanente (D) incluyendo cargas de antenas y carga viva (L) Case 200: Viento con azimut de 0°. Case 220: Viento con azimut de 45°. Case 240: Viento con azimut de 90°. Case 260: Viento con azimut de 135°. Case 280: Viento con azimut de 180°. Case 300: Viento con azimut de 225°. Case 320: Viento con azimut de 270°. Case 340: Viento con azimut de 315°. 10. ESTRUCTURACIÓN DEL MONOPOLO EN EL MS TOWER El monopolo está conformado por 5 módulos facetados bridados de 6m cada uno, los cuales están unidos mediante pernos. En la visita de campo no se pudo verificar el espesor de los módulos, razón por la cual se está asumiendo los espesores de los módulos basados en estructuras similares de la misma altura.

11. DATOS DE ENTRADA DE MODELACION DEL MONOPOLO CARGAS DE VIENTO ‐
VELOCIDAD DE EVALUACIÓN DE CARGA
La velocidad básica de verificación especificada para esta estructura es de 120 kph, a los 10m desde el nivel del terreno.
En la evaluación del monopolo se aplicarán los criterios del manual EIA/TIA 222F (96). Para la evaluación de la estructura se utilizó el programa “MS‐Tower” basado en el método de los elementos finitos, en el que considera al monopolo como una estructura espacial.
El monopolo se define como un conjunto de nudos y barras y los resultados que se obtienen para cada hipótesis de cálculo son los desplazamientos de cada nudo y los esfuerzos en cada una de las barras.

‐ CARGA DE VIENTO SOBRE ANTENAS Las dimensiones, cantidades y ubicaciones de las antenas fueron obtenidas de la visita técnica hecha al monopolo instalado en la EBC PACIFICO y la información brindada por América Móvil S.A.C.
Los resultados que se obtienen son de aplicar la norma TIA‐EIA‐222‐F sobre las antenas detalladas en la visita técnica y la ampliación.

15. CONCLUSION Para la evaluación de la estructura existente de la EBC PACIFICO se utilizaron los resultados del análisis del monopolo facetado bridado existente de altura 30m, considerando las antenas existentes y la proyección de antenas, las conclusiones fueron determinados a partir de la modelación de ésta en el programa de análisis estructural Ms Tower v 6.0.
Como conclusión de esta memoria se tienen los siguientes resultados;
1.‐ La estructura existente verificada en esta evaluación SOPORTA las sobrecargas a instalar a una velocidad de viento de supervivencia de 120Kmh mencionadas según las normas descritas y requerimiento de AMÉRICA MÓVIL S.A.C.
Ver cuadro adjunto de ratios de los perfiles metálicos principales.

Por lo tanto el monopolo NO CUMPLE con las especificaciones de deflexión y torsión solicitadas por AMÉRICA MOVIL S.A.C. para sus estructuras. Se requiere un reforzamiento de la estructura.
3.‐ En la presente memoria no se ha realizado la evaluación del pedestal de apoyo ni de la cimentación del monopolo por no ser parte de esta memoria de cálculo.
4.‐ Cualquier cambio en los elementos que conforman el monopolo o una variación de las condiciones iníciales (cantidad de antenas, ubicación, etc.), implicará una nueva verificación de ésta.
5.‐ Se recomienda realizar una verificación estructural de la cimentación a la brevedad, considerando que se está presentando fisuras en la zona de contacto entre la brida base del monopolo y el pedestal de concreto.
Esta verificación es válida siempre y cuando las consideraciones realizadas sobre los materiales y las secciones de los elementos del monopolo actual concuerden con los datos Entregados por Claro y la verificación de la geometría del monopolo realizada in situ.
