The TEPS (Twin Electric Platform System) electronic structure in line with ISO standard 11898 comprises electronic modules known as CAN (Controller Area Network) which monitor the functions in a particular area of the vehicle. These modules are distributed throughout the chassis and linked together by just one pair of cables, the so-called bus. The bus can transmit large numbers of digitalised commands and data in series. This multiplex system is called the CAN
