Grassroots Basketball Finishing School Finishing Teaching Points 1. Hold the ball with your wrist directly behind it. 2. Your hands need to be flexible to be able to control the ball. 3. Form an “L” with your shooting hand and a “T” with the guide hand. 4. Start low and finish high. 5. Tuck the ball to your shooting side; it’s called “private property”. 6.
