Sepanjang perjalanan menuju Sungai Banyumeneng, Banyumeneng, Girikusumo, Kecamatan Mranggen melewati daerah persawahan dengan kelerengan yang landai. Tiba di Sungai Banyumeneng, Girikusumo, Kecamatan Mranggen pada pukul 08.00 WIB.

BAB II DASAR TEORI 2.1 Pengertian Geologi Struktur
Geologi struktur adalah studi mengenai distribusi ti ga dimensi tubuh batuan dan permukaannya yang datar ataupun terlipat, beserta susunan internalnya. Pengertian Pengertian geologi berdasarkan berdasarkan kajian kajian ilmiah yaitu ilmu geologi yang mempelajari tentang bentuk arsitektur batuan sebagai hasil dari proses deformasi. Proses deformasi adalah perubahan bentuk dan ukuran pada batuan akibat dari gaya yang terjadi di dalam bumi. Gaya tersebut pada dasarnya merupakan proses tektonik yang terjadi di dalam bumi. Di dalam pengertian umum, geologi struktur adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang bentuk batuan sebagai bagian dari kerak bumi serta menjelaskan proses pembentukannya.
2.2 Klasifikasi Geologi Struktur
Pada dasarnya ada dua jenis struktur geologi yaitu struktur batuan yang terbentuk pada saat pembentukan batuan, atau syngenetik seperti lapisan silang siur, flute and cast, intrusi batuan, slumping structure, ripple mark dan graded bedding. Sedang yang bersifat postgenetic adalah struktur geologi karenaa proses pembentukan pegunungan, seperti perlipatan (antiklin dan sinklin), sesar (normal, reverse, geser) dan struktur minor seperti kekar, boudinage, dan drag fold. Geologi struktur lebih ditekankan pada studi mengenai unsurunsur struktur geologi, misalnya perlipatan (fold), rekahan (fracture), sesar (fault), dan sebagainya, sebagai bagian dari satuan tektonik (tectonic unit), sedangkan tektonik dan geotektonik dianggap sebagai suatu studi dengan skala yang lebih besar, yang mempelajari obyek-obyek geologi seperti

2.3 Faktor Pembentuk
Pembentukan struktur kulit bumi dipengaruhi oleh tekanan dan temperatur pada saat pembentukannya dengan gaya distribusi yang menyebabkan menyebabkan bentuk akhir (akan mempengaruhi hasilnya). Gaya adalah suatu aksi yang mempunyai kecenderungan untuk menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan pada gerak atau bentuk dari suatu bahan. Bilamana suatu benda mengalami gangguan yang disebabkan oleh suatu sistem gaya yang bekerja terhadapnya, maka benda tersebut akan mengalami gerak translasi atau transport relatif terhadap suatu sistem koordinat, gerak rotasi, distorsi atau perubahan bentuk, dan dilatasi atau perubahan volume. Suatu kenyataan bahwa tidak setiap gaya yang sifat dan besarnya sama akan menghasilkan suatu bentuk deformasi yang sama, atau dengan perkataan lain akan menghasilkan suatu gejala struktur geologi yang sama. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pada pembentukan daripada struktur yang dihasilkan, antara lain yang terpenting adalah sifat daripada bahan (batuan) yang mengalami derormasi itu sendiri, umpamanya: elastisitas daripada batuan, keplastikan (plasticitet), kerapuhan (brittloness), ketegaran (rigidity), viscocity, kekuatan dan sebagainya. Sifat-sifat batuan tersebut ditentukan setelah diadakan percobaan-percobaan yang dilakukan di laboratorium. Gaya dapat dianggap sebagai suatu besaran vektor sehingga mempunyai besar dan arah. Dengan analisa vektor kita dapat mencari resultan dari dua atau lebih gaya yang bekerja pada satu titik. Arah daripada gaya yang bekerja pada atau dalam kulit bumi dapat bersifat: 1. Gaya yang arahnya berlawanan tetapi bekerja dalam satu garis, dan gaya demikian dapat bersifat: Tarikan (tension), yaitu gaya yang cenderung untuk menarik pada suatu benda. Tekanan (compression), yaitu gaya yang sifatnya menekan pada suatu benda.

3. Gaya yang arahnya arahnya berlawanan tetapi tetapi bekerja pada kedua ujung daripada bahan sehingga sering disebut torsion. 4. Gaya-gaya yang bekerja dari segala jurusan terhadap suatu benda umumnya berlangsung di dalam kulit bumi dan sering disebut sebagai tekanan litostatis (lithostatic pressure). Struktur batuan yang bentuk dan kedudukannnya kita lihat sekarang ini merupakan hasil daripada dua proses (berdasarkan terjadinya), yaitu: 1. Proses yang berhubungan dengan pembentukan daripada batuan tersebut, dimana pada saat itu akan dibentuk struktur-struktur primer. Struktur primer yang terbentuk pada batuan beku berupa struktur aliran (flow structure) yang sering dijumpai pada lava atau bagian tepi dari batolith. 2. Proses-proses yang bekerja kemudian, yaitu yang berupa baik deformasi mekanis akibat adanya gaya-gaya yang berasal dari dalam bumi, yang menimpa batuan, sehingga batuan menjadi retak-retak, terlipat, bergeser dari kedudukan semula ataupun pengubahan kimiawi yang mempengaruhi batuan tersebut, setelah mereka terbentuk. Struktur yang terbentuk pada proses ini disebut struktur sekunder, dimana yang termasuk didalam struktur sekunder adalah kekar, sesar, dan lipatan. 2.4 Macam Geologi Struktur

2.4.1 Sesar ( Fault)
Adalah rekahan – rekahan rekahan dalam kulit bumi, yang mengalami pergeseran dan arahnya sejajar dengan bidang rekahannya satu terhadap yang lainnya. Pergeserannya dapat berkisar dari antara beberapa meter hingga mencapai ratusan kilometer. Sesar merupakan jalur lemah yang lebih banyak terjadi pada lapisan keras (untuk lapangan panasbumi) dan rapuh. Bahan yang hancur pada jalur sesar akibat pergeseran, dapat berkisar dari gauge (suatu bahan yang halus/lumat akibat gesekan) sampai breksi sesar, yang mempunyai ketebalan antara beberapa sentimeter hingga ratusan meter.

Jalur kataklastis Gejala sesar yang diduga terutama pada batuan kristalin agak sukar untuk dikenal disebabkan tidak adanya lapisan-lapisan penunjuk. Di daerah yang terdiri dari lapisan batuan yang homogen, sesar biasanya dapat dikenal dengan adanya jalur jalur kataklastis. 3. Cermin sesar atau gores-garis sesar (slicken side) Adanya gores garis pada bidang sesar, biasanya dapat dipakai untuk menentukan gerak relatif dari bagian-bagian yang digeser. Di daerah di mana singkapannya singkapannya sangat kurang, maka adanya pecahan-pecahan cermin sesar yang berserakan di atas tanah juga dapat memberikan indikasi adanya sesar.

Hangingwall (atap sesar) adalah bongkah patahan yang berada di atas bidang sesar, sedangkan footwall (alas sesar) adalah bongkah patahan yang berada di bagian bawah bidang sesar. Susunan dari poros utama tegasannya menunjukkan arah tegasan yang terbesar adalah vertikal. Gaya geologi yang mempunyai arah demikian adalah gaya berat. Ke arah lateral sesar normal umumnya akan menghilang, dan berubah menjadi bentuk engsel.
Sesar naik ( Reverse Fault ) Pada sesar naik, hangingwall bergeser relatif naik terhadap footwall. Susunan daripada poros utama tegasan adalah sama seperti pada gejala lipatan, oleh karenaa itu sesar naik mempunyai hubungan genesa yang erat dengan pelipatan. Dari susunan poros utama tegasannya, maka diharapkan kemiringan daripada bidang sesar akan mempunyai sudut kurang dari 45

(thrust fault).
Ditinjau dari kejadiannya kita dapat memisahkan sesar naik yang terjadi sebelum gejala lipatan dan sesar naik yang tejadi bersama-sama atau sedikit setelah perlipatan.

2.4.2 Lipatan
Bentuk ombak atau gelombang pada suatu lapisan kulit bumi, yang ditunjukkan oleh perlapisan batuan sedimen, batuan vulkanik, maupun batuan metamorf. Bentuk lengkung suatu benda yang pipih/lempeng, dapat disebabkan oleh dua macam mekanisme, yaitu buckling dan bending (Sukendar Asikin, 1978). Pada gejala buckling atau melipat, gaya penyebab adalah gaya tekan yang arahnya sejajar dengan permukaan lempeng, sedangkan bending atau pelengkungan gaya utamanya mempunyai arah yang tegak lurus pada permukaan lempeng. Menurut kejadiannya lipatan sering diklasifikasikan sebagai hasil gejala tektonik maupun non-tektonik. Sebagai hasil gejala tektonik, lipatan yang dihasilkan karenaa ada gaya langsung pada kulit bumi seperti horizontal compression dan tension. Trough surface, yaitu permukaan khayal yang didalamnya terletak semua garis terendah dari sinklin.

Pith atau rake, yaitu sudut antara garis poros dan horizontal yang diukur pada bidang poros (axial plane)
10. Plunge, yaitu sudut yang dibuat oleh poros dengan horizontal pada bidang vertikal. 11. Amplitudo suatu struktur, yaitu jarak vertikal antar garis poros antiklin dan garis poros dari sinklin pada bidang perlapisan yang bersamaan.

Secara morfologis yang didasarkan atas perubahan bentuk daripada lipatan pada kedalaman dan susunan atau pola daripada struktur lipatan, maka jenis-jenis lipatan adalah: 1.
Concentric Fold (lipatan konsentris/lipatan paralel), adalah sebutan untuk perlipatan dimana jarak-jarak (tebal) tiap lapisan yang terlipat tetap sama.

Similar Fold, adalah sebutan untuk perlipatan dimana lapisan-lapisan yang terlipat/dilipat dengan bentuk-bentuk yang sama sampai kedalam. Antiklin maupun sinklin ukurannya tidak banyak berubah ke dalam maupun ke atas.
Pada setiap perlipatan, beban di atas lapisan sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap perlapisan itu sendiri, dan umumnya lapisan batuan akan lebih mudah melengkung ke atas daripada ke bawah, sehingga gejala perlipatan juga mengakibatkan pengangkatan. 3.1 Kondisi Geologi Daerah Demak
Kabupaten Demak terletak di dataran rendah dengan ketinggian berkisar 0100 m dpl dengan luas kemiringan lahan meliputi; datar (0-2%) seluas 88,765 Ha, bergelombang (2-15%) seluas 834 Ha, curam (15-40%) seluas 408 Ha serata sangat curam (>40%) seluas 136 Ha. Kabupaten Demak ini dilintasi beberapa sungai besar yaitu Sungai Sayung, Tuntang, Serang dan Buyaran. Kabupaten Demak memiliki dua musim yaitu musim kemarau dan penghujan. Pada tahun 2008 di wilayah Kabupaten Demak curah hujan yang terjadi sekitar 458 mm sampai 1661 mm dengan kisaran 1.0722.547mm/tahun dan suhu udara relatif konstan sekitar 250-330 C.
