1. Car width max. 190 cm (see width details page 2). In case of special platform widths narrower narrower than 230 230 and 460 cm respectively, the maximum vehicle width is reduced accordingly. For cars cars with two outside mirrors, a minimum platform width of 250 c m or 500 cm i s recommended. 2. For standard lowered cars or cars with front spoilers exceeding the above above clearance profiles, we recommend to use our our system Parklift 440. 3. Due to recent increases in car length dimensions, and potential potential future developments, a pit length of 540 540 cm is advisable. This offers bigger safety distances also for future cars. 4. Bearing loads are transmitted to the pit floor by base plates of approximately 140 cm2, fixed by heavy duty anchor bolts to a depth of approximately 10–12cm. Base plate thickness min. 18 cm (recommended concrete quality C20/25). When fixing to waterproof concrete floors chemical anchors are employed (to be advised by Wöhr). The front wall of the pits must be formed of concrete and must be perfectly flat and vertical without any protrusions. The specified lengths to the support points are mean values. Please contact us for exact positions for any variations on the standard units.

Noise protection Basis is the German DIN 4109 “Noise protection in buildings”. With the following conditions required 30 dB (A) in rooms can be provided: – noise protection package from our accessory – insulation figure of the construction of min. R’w =57dB – walls which are bordering the parking systems must be done as single wall and deflection resistant with min. m’= 300 kg/m2 – solid ceiling above the parking systems with min. m’= 400 kg/m2
prior to or during installation to enable our fitters to complete their work satisfactorily and to check the correct functioning of the units. Parklifts has to be grounded to the foundation earth connector by customer. A foundation earth connector should be provided by customer each 10 m or acc. to local requirements.
At differing constructional conditions additional sound absorbing measures are necessary. The best results are reached by separated sole plates from the construction. Increased noise protection: If increased noise protection must be provided planning has to be confirmed on a project basis by Wöhr (further building measures are required).

Important notes If maximum platform widths are not installed, difficulties might arise when entering or exiting the cars on the parking units. This depends on the car type, the access and the individual driving behaviour.
Cars wider than 190 cm should be parked on platforms 270/500 cm width only. For spaces against walls, or at end of rows, we recommend that largest possible platform widths are utilized to assist turning motion.

Cars wider than 190 cm should be parked on platforms 270/540 cm width only. For spaces against walls, or at end of rows, we recommend that largest possible platform widths are utilized to assist turning motion.

Protection against corrosion system via a petrol/oil interceptor. To prevent any possibility of contamination of the groundwater we recommend that the pit floor is coated with an oil proof paint.
Conformity test All our systems are checked according to EC machinery directive 98/37/EG and EN 14010.
Independent of a maintenance workings has to be carried out acc. to Wöhr Cleaning and Maintenance Instruction regularly. Clean up galvanized parts and platforms of dirt and road salt as well as other pollution (corrosion danger)! Pit must be always ventilated and dearated well.

For cars with two outside mirrors, a minimum platform width of 250–270 cm or 500–540 cm is recommended. 2. Railings The units need to be provided acc. EN ISO 13857 with safety railings if the gap between unit and wall exceeds 20cm. If walkways are arranged directly to the side or behind the systems, railings have to be provided by client acc. to local requirements, height min. 200 cm – this is applicable during the construction phase too.

1. Car width max. 190 cm (see width details page 2). In case of special platform widths narrower than 230 and 460 cm respectively, the maximum vehicle width is reduced accordingly. For cars with two outside mirrors, a minimum platform width of 250 c m or 500 cm i s recommended. 2. The upper platform is a welded construction (manufactured acc. to EN ISO13920 with the tolerance class C). Finishes are available at the customers request, for example sand bedding/pavement slabs, sand bedding/pebbles, topsoil/lawn a.s.o. Please contact Wöhr for details of maximum allowed loadings. 3. When lowered, the upper platform is even to loor level and can be driven over by cars (max. weight 2500 kg, wheel load max. 625 kg). On special conditions the upper platforms of Parklift 461 and 462 may be used as parking places – please contact Wöhr. 4. In case higher loading is required e.g. passage for fire brigade, please contact Wöhr. 5. A locked key arrangement ensures that the unit is always left in the lowered position after each use. 6. A separate maintenance shaft with ladder is required. A safe maintenance access with a door has to be provided by the customer – please contact Wöhr. This shaft is important for ventilation and passage to the pit and can also house the hydraulic power pack. 7. Statics and construction requirements Bearing loads are transmitted to the pit floor by base plates, fixed by heavy duty anchor bolts to a depth of approximately 10–12cm. When fixing to waterproof concrete floors chemical anchors are employed (to be advised by Wöhr). Base plate thickness and rear wall thickness minimum 18cm (recommended concrete quality C20/25). The walls of the pit must be formed of concrete and must be perfectly

Railings During the building phase the pit has to be safeguarded by the customer.
Drainage (to be performed by the customer) 1) At the pit edge drainage channel formed in the concrete with connection to the sewerage system is necessary (see page 1). 2) For locations with particularly exposed conditions we recommend an additional drainage channel around the outside of the pit. 3) We recommend the provision of a drainage channel at the rear of the pit which can either incorporate a pump sump

If this is to be connected to the sewrage system, it is advisable to provide oil and/ or petrol separators.
Ventilation We recommend to provide a ventilation system in consultation with heating/ventilation/air conditioning engineers with the aim of obtaining continuous air exchange, reducing air humi dity,
preventing condensate and reducing moisture from cars (rain, snow, ice etc.). This helps considerably to reduce or to prevent corrosion and malfunctions due to corrosion.

If it is possible, to locate the doors within the thickness of the shaft walls, the overall internal shaft dimension (DS) can be reduced by up to 26 cm (4-panel doors) and 30 cm (6-panel doors).

Six panel doors will require the s haft to be a little narrower and longer.
Vehicle positioning in the cabin Variant 1
The vehicle positioning system reassures the driver that his vehicle is correctly positioned to avoid contact with the closing doors. If one of the green buttons lights up when entering, the vehicle should be driven backwards or forwards as indicated by the arrow. When correctly positioned the green light goes out and the red STOP button lights up. The driver can now activate the lift and the doors close. Once the destination has been reached a green light indicates the direction of exit. The display panel can either be mounted in the main operating panel or in the door frame depending upon clearance between overall cabin width and door opening width.

drive wattage (kW) Traffic lights are part of standard equipment. Waiting areas and entries/exits to roads are an individual requirement and subject to relevant approval from Local Authorities.
An increase in the number of runs leads to an exceptionally high increase in drive wattage, and thus of the costs for the unit. Increasing travelling speed does not lead to a much higher number of runs, as other factors are involved. This can be seen from the diagram on the left showing a carlift with a lifting height of three metres which makes two stops. In general, 30 cars can be conveyed to the parking places per hour.

Shaft Equipment
For a lift height of up to 3 meters the lift car is directly raised and lowered by two offset hydraulic rams. This system is equipped with a pipe rupture valve safety system. smooth travel. The four or six panel doors open automatically with the lift car doors. All fastenings from cylinders, guide rails and landing doors are adjustable screwed on halfen channels which has to be casted in concrete according to our drawings. Also scaffold sockets on the walls and eye beams on the ceiling from the shaft.
Lift car
The sturdily constructed lift car consists of an outer fabricated frame supporting the cabin which is insulated against noise and vibration.

unit must be air-ventilated. Oil heaters and oil coolers can be installed if necessary. The electro-hydraulic control guarantees smooth travelling in the lift in all situations. Pressure switches emits signals to shutdown the system if the permissible maximum load is reached or the pressure falls below the minimum limit.

How to park the car
Operation
The car has to be parked so that its front wheels are positioned into the tyre indent, place in first gear (automatic transmission P-position). Cars with rear wheel drive have to be backed into the tyre indent. Maximum axle load 1.000 kg. Customer’s responsibility
