Leave 1.
What is my Annual leave entitlement?
All employees of Wipro are eligible for 21 days of Annual Leaves. Annual leave is calculated for a period of one Calendar year. Employee leaves are prorated in the year of joining. During probation, leaves are accrued to the employee , but can be availed once they are confirmed. An employee on probation can avail up to 5 days of emergency leave in exceptional situations. Leaves cannot be taken in advance.

What is my Sick Leave entitlement?
All employees of the company are eligible for 05 days Sick leave. Sick leave is calculated for a period of one calendar year. Excess sick leave beyond 5 days in a year will be deducted from Annual Leave Balance. In your first year with Wipro BPO, the pro-rated 'year' for leave calculation is from the date of joining to December 31 of the year of joining.

Can I take a leave in the first few months of joining?
As explained during the HR interview process, you cannot apply for a leave in the first 6 months from your date of Joining. Thus, you are required to join only after you are free from all commitments.

What are the basic components of my salary package?
Your salary would have 2 basic components, fixed and variable. The fixed component is the CTC (Cost to Company) and the variable component includes Attendance Incentive and PBPP (Process Based Performance Pay).

Post Confirmation - Incentive per month
Upon successful of your probation, the employee will be eligible for a pay out of Rs. 9000 (Nine Thousand Only) as a onetime lumpsum amount which will be paid with the consecutive month’s salary provided the employee is on active duties of the organization on the day of pay out. 13.
How is Process based Performance Pay (PBPP) calculated?
This is a variable component of your salary. It can vary from 0 to 125% of the PBPP amount applicable to the process you are assigned to and is paid on the basis of relative performance. It is calculated on a monthly basis and paid in the following

Do I need to submit any documents to claim my HRA component?
No, This is a percentage of your basic and is paid as a fixed component every month. You can avail tax benefit on this for which authentic rent receipts need to be submitted to EFA

The medical allowance is paid monthly as a fixed salary component. If you want to avail tax benefit – bills need to be submitted

What are retirals?
Retirals have two statutory components – PF and Gratuity. These components are shown in Stack A. Fixed Component is the company contribution towards your PF and Gratuity. This is not a cash component. When you resign the PF can be transferred or withdrawn. Gratuity is payable only on separation subject to completion of five years in Wipro. PF contribution is 12% of the basic component and Gratuity is 4.17% of basic

All the components shown above are monthly net - pre tax components. Tax would be calculated based on the percentage stipulated by Government.

When will my salary get revised?
Salary revision is based on the performance of the individual and the achievement of organisation goals. This is at the discretion of the organisation and governed by Company Policy

Will I get the salary for the current month?
In case you have joined before 20th of month, you would get the salary in the same month. In case the joining is after 20th of the month, salary will be paid next month.

If you already have a PF account, there are 2 options available to you :(a) Get the old account transferred to Wipro (b) Close the previous account and open a new account

Training 24.
What will be the training duration? Will I earn my salary during training?
The training duration can range from 2 weeks to 12 weeks wherever applicable depending upon the process allocated to you. You will earn your salary during training.

Yes. All the employees will have a probation period of six months from the date of joining the company.
Shifts 27.
What would my shifts be?
Your shifts would be decided as per roster in Training / Operations. You would be required to work in shifts, mainly night shifts.

Can I choose my shift timings and process? Can I opt for Day shifts?
No. Process allocation is done by the Company on the basis of profile fitment for our various clients, performance in interview rounds and as per business requirements. Shift timings depend upon the process allocated and will definitely include night shifts which will be on a rotational basis

Does my job involve working in Night shift?
Yes, you will primarily be required to work in rotational night shifts. As explained earlier, it will neither be a fixed day shift or a fixed night shift
Guest House (Accommodation for Outstation Candidates) 30.
Will I get guest house accommodation? Can my parents / family member stay with me in the guest house?
Out – location selected candidates are eligible for 7 days of free guest house accommodation facility at the time of joining. Please note that this facility is only for the selected candidate and not for accompanying parents / family members. This is an organizational policy and requests for exceptions cannot be entertained

How long can I stay in the guesthouse?
Company guesthouse is provided to outstation candidates for a maximum period of 7 days post joining. Please indicate requirement well in advance. You will be guided to the guesthouse on the day of joining
