Synopsis on Worker Attitude towards the Quality of Work Life
INTRODUCTION
The term refers to the favourableness or unfavourableness of a total job environment for people. QWL programs are another way in which organisation recognise their responsibility responsibilit y to develop jobs and working conditions that are excellent for people as well as for economic health of the organisation. The elements in a typical QWL program include- open communication, equitable rewards system, a concerns for worker job security and satisfying careers and participation in decision making. Many early QWL efforts focus on job enrichment. In addition to improving the work system, QWL program usually emphasis development of worker skills, the reduction of occupation stress and the development of more-co-operative labour management relations.
AIM OF THE PROJECT
The aim of the study was to understand the worker attitude towards quality of work life in . This involved study of functioning and and operation at XYZ INDUSTRY with special emphasis emphasis on the different activities related to management of human human resources at XYZ INDUSTRYsuch as training and development, compensation and rewards, welfare activities, job securit y ect.

OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT
The objectives of the project were mainly:
1) To improve the standard of living of the worker.
2) To identify the factors affecting quality of work life.
3) To improve the working condition of the worker.
4) To create a positive attitude.
5) To assess the quality of work life among workers.
6) To suggest suitable measures to improve the quality of work life among workers.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is the investigation of specific problem in detail, at first problem is defined carefully research. There should be a good research plan for conducting research. No research can be done without data collection. After all this analyze is made for getting solution for problem.
Sampling plan
Sample type - I have opted for random/probability sampling.
Sample unit - I have completed my survey in XYZ INDUSTRY .
Sample size - The selection of 35 respondents was done for the study.

Observation method - A keen observation was made on the following activities i n the XYZ INDUSTRY
Punctuality of worker
Behaviour of worker with one another
Maintenance of discipline by the worker
Interview method – Face Face to face interviews of the workers were taken on how they feel about the quality of work life .
