I. Course Description This course introduces the basic concepts and important facts about geography
and the natural resources of the Philippines. P hilippines. It aims to develop student’s knowledge, understanding, and analysis of the different regions of the co untry. It endeavors to develop higher thinking skills in understanding the brief history of the province, cu lture and tradition, economy, products and livelihood, politics politics and government go vernment and famous natural resources and tourist spots.
II. COURSE GOAL AND OBJECTIVES At the end of the semester, students will be able to: A. Knowing the basic concepts in Geography and Natural resources of the Philippines. B. Developing a wide of the regions reg ions in the Philippines. C. Awareness of the significance of geography and nat ural resources of the Philippines in the life of man. D. Training future teachers how to teach Geography Geo graphy and natural resources in the elementary level. E. Manifesting mastery of factual information information concerning Geography Geo graphy and Natural resources of the Philippines.
