Courier Management Analysis

INTRODUCTION This project is aimed at developing a COURIER SERVICE. It is a system meant to mai ntain all the details regarding Admin, Transaction details which includes Courie r details, Customer details, Good details and Shipping details, Retrieval of all  datas from database just by giving the courier unique number. We have developed it using Visual Basic. It is designed and developed using Visual Basic, which is  used for creating a dynamic content. The following is the code developed by us for the Courier Service Private Limited. SYSTEM STUDY EXISTING SYSTEM The exiting manual system has got many disadvantages. It is a time consuming job . It is difficult to maintain records manually. So we go for computerization the  system. DRAWBACKS: The existing manual system has got following disadvantages: It is time consuming job.  It is difficult to maintain the courier detail.  Preparation of reports is not an easy work.  Maintaining information and retrieving information according to our needs are li mited. Computerization is economical both in terms of economy and manpower uses. Manually maintaining the datas is tedious and tedious and sometimes information m ay be lost or overloaded by human. PROPOSED SYSTEM The main object of this project is to design and develop computerized system, wh ich would be helpful to carryout the medicinal plants in the easy manner. The ne wly proposed system eliminates the manual problems and tie consumption, There is  no chance of errors while retrieving records using this proposed systems. SYSTEM DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT INPUT DESIGN: Input design is one of the most important phases of the system design. Input des

ign is the process where the input received in the system are planned and design ed, so as to get necessary information from the user, eliminating the informatio n that is not required. The aim of the input design is to ensure the maximum pos sible levels of accuracy and also ensures that the input is accessible that unde rstood by the user. The input design is the part of overall system design, which requires very caref ul attention. If the data going into the system is incorrect then the processing  and output will magnify the errors. The objectives considered during input design are: Nature of input processing.  Flexibility and thoroughness of validation rules.  Handling of properties within the input documents.  Screen design to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the input relationship with f  iles. Careful design of the input also involves attention to error handling, controls,   batching and validation procedures.
