Activity Completion Report on Clean and Green Program ( May 24, 2014)
Thirty- four representatives of household residents of sitio Kesbeng Barangay Poblacion joined in the “clean and green” program on May 24 ,2014 at sitio Kesbeng Barangay Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet headed by Marites S.Bugtong as the coordinator/chairperson. Before starting our work, we gather at the Jammys Store for proper orientation and spread out from there.We are always in need of volunteers to help in this event.Snacks and coffee are offered in the morning before starting the work,as well as lunch for all the residents. At exactly 12:00 pm, they had their lunch break. Some residents like the store owners also donated bread and juice for snacks. The residents help make this neighbourhood a better place to live and play where cleanliness and proper disposal of garbage is observed at all times.. The activity left a great impact to the community since they are already aware of the cleaning of their areas, segregating their garbage, and throwing their trash at the designated area on the designated time and date. According to the participants, the said activity was a success since after the work Kagawad Narcisa Atos made some lectures on community clean and zero waste zone.

A Narrative Report on the Clean and Green Program
Twenty-one young men and women joined in the “clean and green” program on April 7, 2006 at Barangay Alapang, La Trinidad, Benguet headed by Laarni G. Demot as the coordinator. Before starting their work, the coordinator assigned the young men to clean in the dirty canals and stones walls or riprap with their bolos and shovels. The ladies and youths cleaned and planted some flowers along the office and school premises. At exactly 12:00 pm, they had their lunch break. Some residents like the store owners also donated bread and juice for snacks. The purpose of the said activity is to showcase the “Bayanihan System” of the residents of Barangay Alapang and to support the “Clean and Green Program (Dugad Mo Shalosim) of the Province of Benguet. The activity left a great impact to the community since they are already aware of the cleaning of their areas, segregating their garbage, and throwing their trash at the designated area on the designated time and date. According to the participants, the said activity was a success.

Progress Report on CLEAN AND GREEN ( May 20, 2013) Every one desires for a pristine, peaceful, un polluted and calm environment and ambience.The community also deserves the right to each citizen.But the augmentation in population and the fast growing urbanization totally unbalanced our expectations.The fast growing economy and lifestyle are contaminating our air, water and environment.Various efforts from different corners to tackle this issues have not yet reached anywhere, In order to retain our environment clean and healthy, a collective effort is required and it is obviously the need of this hour.But the past stories invariably prove that the dream CLEAN AND GREEN WILL COME TRUE IF EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES THEIR ROLES. The Community member at sitio upper and lower Kesbeng Poblacion are now aware of the Following; - Awareness about the negative impacts of environmental pollution and methods of disposal including waste management techniques - Making the community directly responsible by promoting them as the volunteers for waste management - There is a designated area, date, time for collecting garbage in sitio Kesbeng Poblacion - A clean up drive in our sitios in every after 3 months specially on the last Saturday of the month. - A reminder on scheduled clean up drive is posted in every stores for the residents to be reminded and aware of the continuous activity.

Progress Report on the “Clean and Green Program” (Year-2014)
In support of the “Clean and Green” Program (Dugad Mo Shalosim) of sitio Kesbeng barangay Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet under the leadership of Barangay Captain Manuel Dulnuan, the following activities were undertaken during the two years. A. Disseminated to the Ladies’ Circle, Youth Volunteers and other people concerned the awareness, concerns and issues on the environment which shall promote their participation in environmental activities and advocates to help preserve and protect the environment. B. Participated in the clean-up drive, waste management and segregation and recycling program. C. Maintained their area and planted more plants. D. Included as a regular activity of sitio Kesbeng Barangay Poblacion.
