1.
ALL external connections between jumpers/main feeder/Antenna must be waterproofed in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions. Points to note are: • Make sure the connection is tight and dry.
•
On connections that are in the vertical plane, the first and last layer of any tape must be applied in an upward direction. This is to prevent water penetration.

The final turns of the last layer of tape must not be pulled or stretched, as this tends to unravel the tape after a short length of time.
•
The upper and lower ends of the waterproofing layer must be bunched with ties cable.
•
Many type of waterproofing material are used depend on the requirement. For rubber and vinyl where used because both of material more flexible to follow the connector surface.

ALL external feeder groundings must be waterproofed in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions. Note: If using Butyl type rubber waterproofing kits, the Butyl needs to be “Worked” like dough in order to get each layer to join with each other and become fully waterproof.
