Yantras and Happiness
Yantras are considered to be the most effective remedial measures in Vedic Astrology. Yantra is a technique or path through which one can attain one’s own desires. Devas or the Planetary gods reside in the yantras and their propitation helps one attain the blessings of the respective planetary god. Mantras never work without the proper yantras. The propitiation of mantra requires the support of yantras. According to our shastras Yantra is a science which can be used through the five elements-earth, water, fire, sky and air and by recitation of mantras to control nature in one’s own interest. Deities are worshiped in different forms and each form is linked to a yantra. Yantra uses signs and writings to remove a planet’s malice effects and increase it’s beneficial aspects. A bindu or zero is used to form various broad figures known as ‘Yantras’. A yantra can be drawn by anybody but it is fruitful only when energised by a ‘sidh mantra’. It is drawn and energised on a piece of silver, copper, etc which is worn by the person. The yantra hence becomes the medium through which the invisible forces of energy act on an individual. The preparation of yantra is difficult process as there are many prescribed steps and rituals that have to be followed exactly. There are different divisions of yantras based on their use, as sharir yantras, dharan yantras, asan yantras, mandal yantras, puja yantras,
chhatar yantras, darshan yantras. All the yantras given above are placed at different places according to their use i.e. they may be placed below a house, tied on a part of body, etc. The yantras can be used for fulfillment of some daily life causes as protection of a child, to win gambling, to remove stammering, to prevent abortions, to find a suitable match for a girl, to stop drinking habbit and many other daily causes. Uses of Yantras 1. For wealth and happiness, bhuvaneshwari yantra is performed. 2. For removal of poverty, prachand chandika yantra is performed. 3. For improvement of speech and promotion of music, matangi yantra is used. 4. For wealth, prosperity and fortune, kamala yantra is used. 5. To win law suits, beesi yantra is performed. 6. To acquire worldly objects, pandrah yantra is useful. 7. For good health, wealth, good fortune and fame, mahamritanje yantra is very useful. 8. For birth of son, mahammadan yantras can be used. Propitiation of yantras is considered to be the shortest way to appease the planets, subject to the condition that they are propitiated in the right way as suggested by the great Indian Rishis (seers). Right propitiation of the yantras and regular worship is the key to attain maximum benefits. http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/showarticles.php?artid=241

Positioning of Yantras http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/dispCategory.php?catId=30 http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/dispCategory.php?catId=29
It is generally recommended that a Yantra be placed in the north/north-west direction facing the south/south-east direction in a room. However, this rule of thumb does not apply to the Vaastu Yantra as it is supposed to be placed in the south-west corner of the house, facing north-east. The Sri Yantra is supposed to be placed in the east, facing west. The Lord Kuber Yantra should be positioned in the north facing south or in the east facing west. Placing of Two or More Yantras Together Two or more Yantras may be placed together but caution is advised that a Lord Kuber Yantra must always be positioned at the extreme left of any group of Yantras. This particular Yantra should be on the left-hand side when we look at the Yantras. The Sri Yantra should be in the exact center of the group. If an altar has only the Sri Yantra and a Lord Kuber Yantra, then the Sri Yantra should be to the right-hand side of Lord Kuber when we stand or in front of them. A Ganapati or Ganesha Yantra should always be placed at the extreme right side of any group of Yantras.

The Shree Yantra brings about material and spiritual wealth . FOR HINDUS In the cosmos there are three states-Creation, Establishment and Destruction and these are represented by the three circles in the Shree Yantra which in itself is the symbol of the universe or cosmos. When this circle is elevated it stands as a symbol of Sumeru Mountain balancing the whole universe and it contains of all the worlds situated in the Sumeru Mountain, as described in Puranas. It is called “Meru Prastha Shree Yantra” and is the best of all. Shree Yantra is the worshipping place of the form of the super goddess, Mahatripur Sundari. It is Her divine abode. All the gods and goddesses are worshipped in it and all other religious adorations are done here. It includes all the conducts, all the learning and all the elements. Shree Yantra can be chiseled out of a crystal piece, engraved on crystal, precious stones, on copper or silver metals in plain plans or elevated plans. But out of all these Shree Yantras, the Yantra which is dug out of crystal, chiseled minutely in an elevated form i.e. in Meru Form is regarded as the best of all. Crystal Shree Yantra is the best for the householder also. ShreeYantra Sthaapana ShreeYantra Sthaapana in your home/office/vehicle is done on a Friday . crystal . Then take it out , wash in normal water and keep on moist earth (mud) under sunlight for few hours . Then take it for Puja . Place Yantra on a plate and wash it with water , and milk mixed with saffron . Then wash it again with water . Light incense and sprinkle water where the Yantra is to be kept chanting “Aim Hreem Namah” . Place yellow cloth and a sheet of silver/gold and place Yantra on it . Put Kum Kum/ Sandal paste and a coral mala on the Yantra . A Shivling is also placed near the Yantra during Pran Prathistha . Offer flowers (yellow) , Gur (jaggery) , raw turmeric and incense to the Yantra . Chant 108 times the following mantra on a Lotus seed rosary “Om, Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamle Kamalalaye Praseed, Praseed, Shreem, Hreem Shreem Om Mahalaxmaye Namah” Then cover Shree Yantra with red cloth . The tip of the Shree Yantra is called the aerial or antenna in scientific term and is called Mahatripur Sundari which means Niwas Sthan (home) of Sampoorna (all) Devis and Devtas (God and Goddess) in religious term. Meditation is done on the tip of the Shree Yantra (Mahatripur Sundari) and while chanting Mahalaxmi Mantra concentrate on the tip and meditate with open eyes. It is also helpful for students in achieving focus and intelligence . FOR OTHER RELIGIONS Since Shreeyantra works on the cosmic ray theory, apart from Hindus even Muslims, Parsis, Christians and people following other religions also believe in it because they believe in the cosmic ray theory of the stones. They do not do Puja like the Hindus but they keep it near their Holy Books or at the place of worship. They also concentrate on the tip and meditate while chant the lines from their holy books with open eyes. http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/showarticles.php?artid=196
Simple Worship of Yantras

Simple Worship of Yantras For those who prefer simple worship of a Yantra, traditionally a small lighted oillamp or ghee lamp placed in front of the Yantra is regarded as the best form of simple worship. The lighting of incense of various types is also well regarded as is the auditory stimuli of chanting Mantras or playing tapes of sacred chants. As Yantras are living energy systems, they respond to all sensory stimuli. Perfume is perceived as a vain affectation and is to be avoided especially as most perfumes consist of synthetic components. Energy workers such as Reiki masters and Pranic healers can direct their own energies at the Yantra as a gesture of giving thanks or in worship. Some healers have reported stunning positive responses that were evoked.
