I have an idea I'd like to o"er to you for generating more tra #c and social buzz - would love to hear what you think: Personalized, Targeted Email Outreach If you've just created a blog post packed full of amazing content (yup like this one), you can try reaching out to people via email that already has shared similar content. How? Use BuzzSumo. (Step 1) Simply plug in some keywords related to your post and it will show you content that has a successful amount of social shares. (Step 2) Sort by Twitter shares and then export the list of people who shared a similar piece of content to the one you want to promote. (Step 3) From that list, find their emails (use Rapportive, Name2Email or hire an assistant to do it) and send those people a simple email script that reads something like: " see more

Great share, I know the method for buzzsumo was found elsewhere earlier (I think Brian from backlinko?) but either way - it's great to hear it again. I actually forgot to write that method down in my Evernotes, so thank you for sharing it again. The roundup idea is also wonderful - sometimes we read things all day long for new techniques that we just don't implement simple steps. The main goal is to take action on SOMETHING that you've read here, even if it's 1 thing. 109 of 112
