Treatment for It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia “The Gang Gets Medicated” By ustin Spellman May !"#$ Synopsis%  This twenty-two twenty-two minute episode of the television television show It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is my own episode. It takes place in a crappy bar in Philadelphia, run by ve delusional people. All ve of these characters have been featured as prota!onists on the show at one point or another a nother.. In this possibly penultimate episode the prota!onist would have to be "ennis. #is will or want is to make more money at the bar and be successful. #e chooses to do this by adaptin! to recent chan!es in law by turnin! the bar into a medicinal mari$uana dispensary. dispensary. %omplications to reach "ennis’ !oal revolve around his sister &"ee' and friend &(ac' !ettin! $ealous and a nd wantin! to compete. "urin! the clima), all hell breaks loose and Paddy’s Pub is burned to the !round. The !an! walks away, seemin!ly brushin! o* the tra!edy that has transpired. The irony of this episode is the fact that everythin! the !an! is doin! is hi!hly ille!al, yet they do it while bein! blatantly oblivious to the law or even common ethics.

Introduction% All ma$or characters are introduced includin! "ennis, his twin sister, "ee, their friends (ac and %harlie, and their father !ure, +rank. +rank.

et it be known that all of these people are a re assholes. They are all terrible people and deserve each other. other. That’s why the show is so funny and dark. %harlie and +rank +rank are smokin! mari$uana in the bar when "ee and "ennis show up and e)press e)press their distaste. They are persuaded to $oin and immediately "ennis turns on "ee and be!ins mockin! her. her. veryone else $oins in, as per usual. "ee leaves and returns with (ac, whom she has tattled to. (ac tries to belittle the !an! for smokin! but they don’t care. "ennis then hatches a plan to turn the pub into a dispensary.

Act #% After After the openin! title credits, we are met with "ennis and %harlie in Paddy’s Pub basement full of mari$uana plants &it is assumed some time has passed since "ennis thou!ht of the idea to !row and cultivate.' After After a failed task, "ennis makes %harlie return return to %harlie work &$anitorial services.' +rank +rank shows up and "ennis tells him about a strain that would seduce any woman. e cut to (ac and "ee in her car were they are are $ealous and plan to sell weed on their own, and plan on !ettin! it throu!h %ricket, a man who was once a priest but now homeless and dis!ured thanks to the !an!. #e !ets them the product and tells them that it’s called an!el dust and that his life is on the line if they don’t !et the money by the ne)t day.

Plot Point #%

e !et a !limpse of how manic and possibly psychotic ps ychotic "ennis is. #e is a very e!ocentric person everythin! up to this point is $ust foreshadowin! as to how bad thin!s are !oin! to !et. It is disconcertin! that (ac and "ee brush o* the fact they $ust picked up an!el dust, which is not mari$uana, but P%P.

Act !% "ennis, %harlie and +rank are preparin! preparin! for the pub to open as a dispensary the followin! day. day. "ee and (ac show up to show o* the dru!s they recently ac/uired and convince everyone to partake in a samplin!. 0nbeknownst to the !an!, they all smoke P%P and start trippin!. The rest is a blur. In the mornin! +rank and "ee are !one and "ennis wakes up naked and awakens a spoonin! %harlie and (ac. %harlie and (ac leave to look for +rank +rank and "ee and "ennis prepares for the openin!. "ee and +rank +rank are in the same sa me alley they met with %ricket. %ricket. They had bin!ed on all the P%P and it was now !one. %ricket shows up but is then kidnapped in front of them. "ee and +rank they will steal "ennis’ weed in order to sell it so they can buy more P%P.

Plot point !%  The !an! trips on P%P. P%P. "ennis is very an)ious about the openin! openin! and "ee and +rank have descended into madness followin! a P%P bin!e. At this point very little details about the previous ni!ht are unknown.

Act &'(lima)%

%harlie and (ac show up to a bar that’s boomin! with business.  They are prompted prompted to take over over while "ennis takes takes a woman to the back o1ce for a sample. e e pick up more on "ennis’ rapey undertones. +rank +rank and "ee !ure that +rank will crawl throu!h the ventilation system to !et to the basement to steal some plants. e then learn that %ricket was indeed kidnapped and by the (cPoyles, (cPoyles, who also share a hatred ha tred of the !an!. They then tell %ricket %ricket in order to clear his debt he must burn down Paddy’s Pub. %ricket %ricket runs to the basement slippin! throu!h the crowd. +rank +rank falls throu!h th rou!h the vent witch hits "ennis’ lady friend on the head and possibly killin! her. her. As %ricket obviously has started the re, the Pub be!ins to ll with all a ll the smoke from the burnin! mari$uana plants. veryone becomes e)tremely e)tremely lifted &into)icated' &into)icated' and everyone piles out of the bar set abla2e.

(onclusion%  The !an! looks with admiration at the atrocity atrocity they have committed. They are all completely and utterly stoned, and brush it o* as if it were any other day. The all embrace and walk away to satisfy their munchies.

Meaning'Purpose%  This story is about ve people who who are perfect for each each other. other. +ive people who are all delusional and deran!ed in their own way.  These are ve people people with little to no morals morals and superiority
