The Air Transport Economics and Management module is to enable students to recognise key economic concepts and how they are used in the air transport business for decision making, in the short, medium or long term. Pedagogical objectives:
To appreciate the key economic factors of provision and demand for Air Transport, in relation to these theories. To recognise the cost and price structure of airports and airlines in activities such as pricing and revenue management and route economics. To understand how economic fundamentals have a strong influence on industry structure and profitability. Content: Duration:
