 PLURALES   PLURALES 

· En inglés solamente se escriben plurales en los SUSTANTIVOS , nunca en los adjetivos. · Existen unas normas para realizar los plurales en los sustantivos y son las siguientes: .1ª .-

Los sustantivos que en inglés acaben en S,SS,SH,CH,X,O  para hacer el plural tenemos que añadir al

sustantivo ES. Ejemplos:

SINGULAR

Bus Glass Bush Church B ox Tomato

PLURAL BusES GlassES BushES ChurchES BoxES TomatoES

Photo is not really a word, but a shortened version of the word photograph. So if you are writing something formal, don't use the word photo at all :) If it's not formal, photos is correct.

2ª .-Los .-Los sustantivos que en inglés acaben en Y

y antes hay una CONSONANTE , para hacer el plural tenemos

que quitar la Y y sustituirla por una I y luego añadir  ES. Ejemplos:

SINGULAR

PLURAL BaIES CitIES

3ª .-Los .-Los sustantivos que en inglés acaben en F o en FE, para hacer el plural tenemos que quitar la F o la Fe y en

su lugar escribir  VES.

Ejemplos:

4ª .-En inglés existen unos plurales irregulares

que no siguen las normas y que hacen el plural cambiando la

 palabra o simplemente no la cambian y son los siguientes:

5ª .-Para todos los demás sustantivos

añadiendo al sustantivo una S.

PLURAL TEETH MEN POLICEMEN FISH MICE FEET WOMEN CHILDREN GEESE OXEN SHEEP DEER  PEOPLE LUGGAGE

que no estén incluidos en las normas anteriores, el plural se forma
