NO WELDING REPAIR SHALL BE CARRIED OUT ON PIPE AFTER COLD EXPANSION.

CUMULATIVE LENGTH OF REPAIR SHALL NOT EXCEED 5% OF PIPE LENGTH.
WELD DEFECTS SEPARATED BY LESS THAN 100 MM SHALL BE REPAIRED AS A CONTINUOUS SINGLE WELD REPAIR. EACH SINGLE REPAIR SHALL BE CARRIED OUT W ITH MINIMUM TWO LAYER/PASSES OVER A LENGTH OF AT LEAST 50 MM. •
