Manifestors & the Chemistry of Anger Ra Uru Hu
If you think about the not-self themes of the four Types, the disappointment and the Reflector, the bitterness and the Projector, frustration in the Generator, none of them carry with it an implicit threat of violence. There is occasionally when, because it's an energy Type, that Generator frustration can be dangerous. But it doesn't carry the same value. If you think back to the nature of the seven-centered being, the way life was built in the seven- centered world, it was lead by Manifestors and it was led by Manifestors who were obviously not-self. The way in which our cultures, our societies, and our civilizations were moved forward was through the agency of anger. Again, taking the comparison between leading in the seven-centered world through Manifestors and leading in the nine-centered nine- centered world through Projectors, bitterness doesn’t carry with it any real threat, if you know what I mean. It just doesn’t. Bitterness is often something that you just feel sorry for rather than anything else. It’s not like a Projector being bitter is going to somehow have deeper influence over getting some not-self not- self whatever to do something. so mething. It doesn’t work that way. Anger, though, works. It’s just one of those things to realize about Manifes tors. Anger really works. Anger is a great way to get things done. Manifestors have been doing it forever. They just instill fear through that anger. And of course, for Manifestors to instill fear it’s not a big step. It isn’t a big step b ecause you’ve got this closed aura. It’s not something that’s easy to gain access to. And at the same time, you have this incredible powerful chemistry, this chemistry of anger. It's not like it’s an easy thing for the Manifestor to get rid of because it's all tied up with power. And it's tied up with survival. And it’s caught up with this ancient history of ours as Manifestors in the way w ay in which we got things done. Manifestors were ready to be angry most of their lives in the hopes that they could have peace at the end. The anger was just a driving force; literally, the driving force. We’ve all seen it and we know it historically. We know it as simply a reality. So, for those of us who are born into this age, into this nine-centered vehicle
with its binary consciousness and its movement towards the kind of communal embrace that is envisioned in raves, the way in which Right-ness moves us to a receptivity that is so very different in the way in which we deal with things, how different that is from what it is to be a Manifestor. Everything about us as Manifestors, the only way in which we have ever been able to maintain ourselves is to be not-self and to be angry. Normally when I talk about Manifestors and the development of anger in Manifestors, I talk about the child, the child with its boundaries being controlled because there is this concern in its parents that the child is uncontrolla ble. They don’t know it's a Manifestor, but they can feel that through the aura; they can feel that they’re not going to be able to maintain that control. Out of the control mechanisms that are placed around the Manifestor, this is where the anger grows. In Manifestor History Anger was Important
But that’s secondary to understanding that for all of our Manifestor history it is anger that, in fact, was the most important ingredient in what it was to be us. Nothing was more important than that anger. It was that anger that gave us the power. And it was through that anger, in combination with our aura, that we were being able to take that role of telling everybody what to do. For every Manifestor there are six Generators. Anger is a very powerful thing. Despite the fact that we have a more sophisticated way of looking at it now in terms of the upbringing of the child and the way in which the repression works, it’s so much deeper to understand that this is a karmic thing. It is what made us great. And now, we're expected to sit on it. Now it’s a not -self theme. Now in the nine-centered being it’s not such a terrific thing to have all this anger, at least certainly not in terms of how all the other Types are going to relate to us in that way. And obviously, anger brings issues. And I'll take a look at that as we move along. But I really want you to grasp this thing about what we are, that without making that sound melodramatic, we have had our day. That is, our time to be de pendent on, for society to look to us as the ones who are going to take charge, because of course, in the seven-centered context where survival was everything, anger was a very powerful tool. It’s a very, very powerful tool.
When we come into the world, we’re coming into a vehicle that has a trad ition, that tradition of using anger. And I think one of the major issues that all Manifestors have is that no matter how much we look at anger as a dysfunction, a not-self expression, no matter what we do with that, the fact is that we are built for anger. We were the only Type that carries with it a threat of violence. It is just inherent in what anger is really all about. We carry that.
