Introduction to Project Turnover and Closeout Cl oseout Project Project turnover and $roject closeout are a re distinct 1ut closely related $hases of $roject adinistration. Turnover Turnover enco$asses all the activities involved involved in a $roject’s transition fro construction or renovation to occu$ancy and use. "t $roject $roject turnover= turnover= the @niversity @niversity acce$ts the co$leted $roject fro the Contractor and forally assues the res$onsi1ilities of onershi$. Closeout refers to the activities involved in terinating the $roject’s construction and design contracts= transferring inforation to the $roject "ccountant for :nancial closeout= and archiving all $roject records. This cha$ter descri1es $roject $roject adinistration activities activities during $roject turnover and closeout.
