organizations. This literally means that a team of health professionals ‘camp’ in an area to a limited health intervention
The Free Health Camps is one such special initiative i nitiative to provide healthcare services to me
immediate health care needs of the the community. Customized health camps will be organiz
extensively across the state offering comprehensive health services such as curative, prev promotive and referral, to a large number of people in selected areas.
Multi-disciplinary projects include gynaecological, paediatric, ophthalmology, surgical se etc., whereas other interventions can be general in nature.
The uniqueness of the model lies in its comprehensive approach where health promotion a prevention are given equal importance while curative care is administered.
